Prophet Isa (Jesus, peace upon him) the son of Maryam (Mary

Prophet Isa (Jesus, peace upon him) the son of Maryam (Mary

17:9. This Quran guides to the best path, and brings good news to the believers who lead a righteous life, that they have deserved a great recompense.

Hazrat Ali bin Abi Talib (Radiyallaahu anhu) narrated that Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) said:
"The best of the women in the world is Maryam (in her lifetime),
And the best of the women in the world is Khadeejah (in her lifetime).
“Abu Musa Ashari (Radiyallaahu anhu) also narrated that Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) said:
"Many among men attained perfection, but among women none attained perfection except
Maryam the daughter of Imran, and Asiya the wife of Pharaoh; and the superiority of Aisha to other women is like the superiority of Tharid
(an Arabic dish) to other meals."

Prophet Isa (Jesus, peace upon him) the son of Maryam (Mary)

A man accompanied Prophet Isa (Jesus, peace upon him) the son of Maryam (Mary) and said that he would go with him.
They continued along until they came to a river. They sat and started to eat.
They had three loaves of bread.
They ate two of them and one remained.

Prophet Isa (Jesus, peace upon him) went to the river, drank some water and returned.
Prophet Isa (Jesus, peace upon him) did not find the third loaf, so he asked the man who had taken that loaf.
The man said that he did not know.

They continued until they came to a doe followed by two fawns.
Prophet Isa (Jesus, peace upon him) beckoned one of the fawns, killed it, roasted it and they ate it.
Then Prophet Isa (Jesus, peace upon him) addressed the fawn [that had been eaten,] saying, "Live!" It came to life and went.
Then Prophet Isa (Jesus, peace upon him) said to the man, "By the Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) who has shown you this miracle, who took that loaf of bread?
“The man said that he did not know.

They continued until they reached a lake. Prophet Isa (Jesus, peace upon him) took the hand of the man and led him over the water.
When they reached the other side, Prophet Isa (Jesus, peace upon him) said,
"By the One Who has shown you this miracle, who took that loaf of bread?" The man said that he did not know.

They continued until they reached a desert. They sat down.
Prophet Isa (Jesus, peace upon him) gathered some sand or dust and said,
"By the permission of Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD), be Gold!" It became Gold. He divided it into three portions.

Then Prophet Isa (Jesus, peace upon him) said, "One third is for me, one third for you, and one third for whoever took that loaf of bread."

The man said, "Alright, I took that loaf of bread."

Prophet Isa (Jesus, peace upon him) said, "Then all of this Gold is yours." Then he left him.

The man encountered two other men in the desert.
They wanted to take his Gold and kill him.
He said, "Let us divide the Gold into three portions." They sent one of them to the village to buy food.

The one who went said to him self, "Why should I let them have portions of this wealth?
I shall put some poison into the food, and kill them." So, he poisoned the food.

The other two said, "Why should we give a third of this wealth to him.
When he comes back, let us kill him, and divide the rest of the wealth between us."

When he returned, they attacked him and killed him. Then they ate the poisoned food and died.
The wealth remained in the desert with the three dead men beside it.

Prophet Isa (Jesus, peace upon him) passed them and saw the situation. He said to his disciples, "This is the world, so beware of it!"

A man asked Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) what was the mark whereby he might know the reality of his faith.
Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) said: "If thou derive pleasure from the good which thou hast performed and thou be grieve.

Be happy and content always, with whatever we have
Don’t be too greedy and selfish share your happiness’ and wealth with others and your love once.
Enjoy life with your friends and relatives and make others happy and spread the message of love.

A man: who remembered Allah in private and (cries) so his eyes shed tears?'

Our noble Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) informed us:

'If you knew what l knew, you would laugh little and weep much.'

Narrated by Abu Hurairah and Anas & collected in Sahih al-Bukhari (eng. trans.) vol.8, p.326-327, nos.492 and 493.

Crying is not a sissy' thing to do.
Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam), who was the best of all creation, would weep as would all of his Companions.
Tears are a genuine expression of fear of Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD)'s Punishment and of our sincere love and awe of Him.
But how often do we remember Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) in seclusion and are then moved to tears?
How much do we laugh and how little do we weep?

The Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) said,

There is nothing more beloved to Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) than two drops and two marks:
A tear shed due to fear of Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD), and a drop of blood spilled in the path of Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD).
And as for the two marks, then a mark caused in the path of Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD), and a mark caused by fulfilling one of the duties made obligatory by Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD)...

It is related on the authority of Abu Huraira (Radiyallaahu) that the Holy Prophet (sallallaahu `alaihi wa sallam) said,” Seven people will be shaded by Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) under His shade on the day when there will be no shade except His. They are:
1) The judge who is just;
2) The man who devotes his life in the worship of Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) even in his youth;
3) The man who eagerly awaits the call to prayer to go to the Mosque and worship Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD);
4) The two friends, who love each other for the sake of Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD), when they meet they meet for the sake of Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD), when they separate they separate for the sake of Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD);
5) The man who resists the temptation of a woman who is beautiful and comes of a respectable family and tries to incline him towards her for evil purposes;
6) The man who gives alms with his right hand but conceals it from the left;
7) The man when alone meditates on Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD), and his eyes become filled with tears."
(Bukhari)

Alhamdullilah, through these seven types of people mentioned in the Hadith, we have been given clear signposts of the way to attain Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD)'s pleasure and satisfaction.
So dear brothers and sisters in Iman, devote yourself to being one amongst those seven, for indeed fortunate will be those who are granted Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD)’s Shade on the Day when there will be no shade but His.

"On the Day of Resurrection, the sun would draw so close to the people that there would be left a distance of only one mile.
The people will be submerged in perspiration according to their deeds, some up to their ankles, some up to their knees, some up to the waist"

May Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) help us to do that which He loves and which pleases Him?
And Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) knows best.
May Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) make our efforts sincere and keep us all on the straight path...........

Unite with his Allah(God)-Beloved only by Sinking into Him.

ISLAM began as something strange, and it will become thus again, as it was at the beginning.
Blessed, therefore, are the strangers.
(He was asked who the strangers are).
The strangers are those who restore what the people have corrupted of my law,
As well as those who revive what has been destroyed of it.

But this is not the only reason why we need to speak about Islam. Islam expresses the ethics of the attitude of man to God in laconic and methodologically true form.
Moreover, the attitude to God, which was taught by Jesus Christ, was realized in Islam and not in mass Christianity.
This is why it are in the field of Islam's activity that there are many sound spiritual schools on the Earth now.
The Quran — the main holy book of Islam — contains their sayings and description of their acts. The narration in the Quran is communicated through the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) from Allah SWT God, Who gives Muhammad SAW
What is the newness of Islam? Why God did not spread Christianity in the regions that are covered nowadays by Islam?

The matter is that many people calling themselves Christians strayed from the Teaching of Jesus Christ even at that time. And the modern mass Christianity has lost God and its followers can be called Christians only relatively — only because they continue to observe the ancient Christian rites.

… Let us compare it to India. The people of India have Bhagavad-Gita where there is a detailed description of what is God (in Sanskrit — Ishvara) and what man has to do in relation to this. But in India too the majority of people are unable to accept the concept of monotheism (due to the fact that in any region of the Earth the people of the early stages of psychogenetic development are in majority). So, nowadays, the followers of the mass Hinduism and Buddhism of Mahayana worship not Ishvara,
Who is so vividly represented in Bhagavad-Gita, but the pagan fictitious "gods": Ganesha, Kali etc., with corresponding iconography? And in some degenerated branches Of the Buddhism this tendency has gone so far that for God there was left no room and He is denied completely.

But people relying on the Judaic and Christian Bible turned out to be in even a worse situation since these books do not contain any description of God which can satisfy
The inquiries of man on the intellectual search: there God is depicted so that He becomes an object of belief and not an object of knowledge.

Therefore, return to the pagan form of religious outlook, which is more convenient for young souls, was even easier among people involved in Christianity.

The loss of God in the mass Christianity manifested in the fact that God preached by the Judaic prophets and Jesus as the main object of attention, aspiration, and love, was superseded by the pagan cults of Nicholas the Wonder-worker and others "patron saints", by the cult of the earthly mother of Jesus, who was, undoubtedly, a  Remarkable and virtuous woman, but could not understand and accept what her Son taught; once she even counted Him insane (Mark 3:21,31-35). And the main essence Of the Teaching of Jesus about aspiration to cognition God-the-Father was superseded… by prayerful panhandling.

It is important to note, that the pagan tendency was legalized by the Orthodoxy already in the liturgical tradition where very good, but not divine woman Maria, the mother of Jesus, is called "my all-blessing Queen", "Our Lady", and we are her slaves, with no hope to receive help from anyone, only she can help (God, as one can
See, in this case is of no importance).

And, seeing the beginning of this tendency, God once again repeated through the prophet Muhammad (SAW) that people have to concentrate attention on the Total
Universal God-Creator and devote their lives to Him.

Whoever obeys the Messenger, he indeed obeys Allah, and whoever turns back, so we have not sent you as a keeper over them. (Surah An-Nisa, 80)

The point one needs to pay attention in the verses is that they emphasize on the concept of "obeying the Messenger". This point shows us that following the Messenger, in other words following His commands and rules is a worship that Allah brought as an obligation. When we look at the verses, we again see that our prophet has the Authority to enjoin and forbid things. For example, the verse ".... and whatever the Messenger gives you, accept it, and from whatever he forbids you, keep back, and be  Careful of (your duty to) Allah.
(Surah Al-Hashr, 7) shows that the prophet may forbid certain things for His ummah, apart from those things that are forbidden in the Quran. Besides, it is again informed in the verses that the believers took the matters that they did not understand to the prophet and the prophet judged for them.

The Quran is the last divine book, which was revealed from Allah as a declaration and guidance to mankind. It is an explanation of all things and means for men to be rightly guided. In many verses of the Quran, it is commanded to obey the prophet of Allah. This is quite a significant point because understanding the Quran fully can only be possible with following the Sunnah of the prophet.

The Sunnah is the explanation of the Quran. It is the creed of ahl-i Sunnah, which has been constituted with collecting true hadiths of the prophet Muhammad (Sallal lahu `Alaihi wa salaam), and interpretation of these hadiths by great scholars in later times.

It's worth dwelling upon a point here. The Sunnah is not a concept that can be dealt with separately from the Quran. In the Quran, it has been mentioned that the Prophet removes heavy burdens, makes rules, and teaches the ummah (society) the open and hidden meanings of the Quran. As a matter of fact, when we look at the Practices of Sunnah, we see that the prophet of Allah gave His companions a lot of information about numerous subjects. This information was then interpreted by Scholars of the time continued to be practiced in daily lives and has passed on to us generations to generations.

Allah has informed in the Surah Al-e Imran that the Prophet had the characteristic of teaching the Quran and purifying mankind:

Certainly Allah conferred a benefit upon the believers when He raised among them a Messenger from among themselves, reciting to them His communications and purifying them and teaching them the Book and the wisdom, although before that they were surely in manifest error. (Surah Al-e Imran, 164).

It would be useful to attract attention to the phrase "teaching the book and the wisdom". Because, It is not possible to understand the Quran fully and practice its Commands without following the Sunnah of the prophet of Allah. Our religion is a whole only with the Quran and the Sunnah. At that times when the Quran was revealed, the people around the prophet learned and practiced the commands of our religion as required by looking at the examples of the prophet. Indeed, the prophet has been an important example with His life, where he practiced the commands of the religion, for us to understand the Quran.

We can give "Salat" (ritual prayers) as a clear example to understanding the commands of the religion. As well known, in Islam, performing Salat 5 times a day is an
Obligation and there are verses giving general information about how to perform it, how to perform ablution (wash). However, we can understand how exactly we should perform prayers only by looking at Sunnah. Because there is no detailed information in the verses about the way of praying, what to say in prayer, the way of man and Woman’s performing the prayer, the degree of importance of the prayers, the details of ablution, what nullifies ablution. We can learn such details only by looking at Sunnah of the prophet.

As another example, we can mention the suggestions of the prophet about Friday and the things He said about Friday prayer. Beside the subjects such as speaking that which is best, cleanness, foods, modesty, there are verses in the Quran about obligations such as fasting, ablution and hajj (pilgrimage). However, there is no detailed information about those worships in the verses. We learn the detail information about how to perform these worships from the interpretations of the scholars about the words and habits of the prophet.

Sunnah has acted the lives of Muslims throughout the history, of all past scholars of Islam, shaping their worships. Since the era of our prophet, which has been hundreds of years, the Muslims have worshipped in compliance with the Sunnah. Worships like praying five times a day, fasting, giving charity and sacrificing have not changed until today as they have been always performed according to the Sunnah. For this reason, starting discussions upon the worships, which have been practiced for hundreds of years without change, and speculating about the subjects like time of the prayers, the numbers of the rakaats (units) are completely unnecessary. All of them are Obligatory worships, whose details are described in the Sunnah. As a matter of fact, when we look at the Quran, we see many verses in the Quran about following the Messenger. In a verse, for example, Allah commands us to obey the Messenger as follows:

Surely we have sent you as a witness and as a bearer of good news and as a Warner, That you may believe in Allah and His Messenger and may aid him and revere him; and (that) you may declare His glory, morning and evening. Surely those who swear allegiance to you do but swear allegiance to Allah; the hand of Allah is above their hands. Therefore whoever breaks (his faith), he breaks it only to the injury of his own soul, and whoever fulfils what he has covenanted with Allah, He will grant him a Mighty reward. (Surah Al-Fath, 8-10)

Imam Malik (R.A,) one of the greatest Islam scholars, compared the Sunnah of the prophet to the ark of Noah and said: The Sunnah of the Prophet Mohammad (Sallal lahu `Alaihi wa salaam) is like the Ark of Noah. Whoever embarks upon it reaches salvation and whoever refuses is drowned.” The true salvation will be realized only when the creed of ahl-i Sunnah is understood by everybody and prevails in the society

And in conclusion let us cite one more hadith in which Allah (God) outlines the steps of one's approaching to Him and Merging with Him.

We should comment that death in it should be understood not as the death of man's body, but as the death of egocentrism in man and his isolation from God. For one can unite with his God-Beloved only by sinking into Him.

He who searches for Me — will find Me.

He who found Me — will cognize Me.

He who cognized Me — will fall in love with Me.

He who fell in love with Me — will conceive passion to Me.

To him who conceived passion to Me — I too will conceive passion.

Him who is in love with Me I will kill,

And to him whom I killed I will pay a ransom for the blood.

I myself am the ransom for his blood.

You will not enter paradise until you believe,
And you will not believe until you love one another.
Let me guide you to something in the doing of which you will love one another.
Give a greeting to everyone among you.

Inscribed on the prophet's sword:
Forgive him who wrongs you; join him who cuts you off;
Do good to him who does evil to you;
And speak the truth even if it be against your self.

How many people carry the Quran in the hearts but it curses them from inside their hearts!
If the bearer of Quran disobeys his Lord, the Quran calls him from inside his chest saying, "By Allah, you have not carried me (memorized me) for this! Will you not be shy from your Lord?"
-Ibn Mubarak.

Have fun praying and getting ready for the Day of Judgment coz that day will NOT be fun :) P.S.: don’t forget to make dua  for me. !!

Life of a Muslim

Did you know that almost all of the Sahaba were converts to Islam? Every last one of them has a unique story and quite a few have suspense-filled adventures on their way to the truth.

11days left until 1st Ramadan (Fasting Begins) (Aug 22)!
40 days left until Eid-al-Fitr (End of Ramadan) (Sep 20)!

"Righteous is he who believes in Allah and the Last Day and the Angels and the Scriptures and the Prophets."

-- Qur'an 2:177

"Islam" means "peace through the submission to God".

"Muslim" means "anyone or anything that submits itself to the will of God".

Islam is not a cult. Its followers number over 1.5 billion worldwide. Along with Judaism and Christianity, it is considered to be one of the three Abrahamic traditions.

There are five pillars of practice in Islam. These practices must be undertaken with the best of effort in order to be considered a true Muslim: A) Shahadah - declaration of faith in the oneness of God and that Muhammad is the last prophet of God. B) Formal prayer five times a day. C) Fasting during the daylight hours in the month of Ramadan. D) Poor-due "tax" - 2.5% of one's savings given to the needy at the end of each year. E) Pilgrimage to Mecca at least once, if physically and financially able.Islam is one of the fastest growing religions in the world. To become Muslim, a person of any race or culture must say a simple statement, the shahadah, that bears witness to the belief in the One God and that Prophet Muhammad was the last prophet of God.

"Allah" is an Arabic word that means "God". Muslims also believe that "Allah" is the personal name of God.

Allah is not the God of Muslims only. He is the God of all people and all creation. Just because people refer to God using different terms does not mean that they are different gods. Spanish people refer to God as "Dios" and French people refer to God as "Dieu", yet they are all the same God. Interestingly, most Arab Jews and Arab Christians refer to God as "Allah". And the word Allah in Arabic appears on the walls of many Arab churches.

The Islamic concept of God is that He is loving, merciful, and compassionate. But Islam also teaches that He is just and swift in punishment. Nevertheless, Allah once said to Prophet Muhammad, "My mercy prevails over my wrath." Islam teaches a balance between fear and hope, protecting one from both complacency and despair.

Muslims believe in and acknowledge all the prophets of old, from Adam to Jesus. Muslims believe that they brought the message of peace and submission (islam) to different peoples at different times. Muslims also believe that these prophets were "muslims" because they submitted their wills to God.

Muslims accept the original unaltered Torah (the Gospel of Moses) and the original Bible (the Gospel of Jesus) since they were revealed by God. However, none of those original scriptures are in existence today, in their entirety. Therefore, Muslims follow the subsequent, final, and preserved revelation of God, the Holy Qur'an.
The Holy Qur'an was not authored by Muhammad. It was authored by God, revealed to Muhammad, and written into physical form by his companions.

The Holy Qur'an has no flaws or contradictions. The original Arabic scriptures have never been changed or tampered with.

Actual seventh century Qur'ans, complete and intact, are on display in museums in Turkey and many other places around the world.

If all Qur'ans in the world today were burned and destroyed, the original Arabic would still remain. This is because millions of Muslims, called Hafiz (or "preservers") have memorized the text letter for letter from beginning to end, every word and syllable. Also, chapters from the Qur'an are precisely recited from memory by every Muslim in each of the five daily prayers.
Muslims do not believe in the concept of "vicarious atonement" but rather believe in the law of personal responsibility. Islam teaches that each person is responsible for his or her own actions. On the Day of Judgment Muslims believe that every person will be resurrected and will have to answer to God for their every word, thought, and deed. Consequently, a practicing Muslim is always striving to be righteous.

Islam was not spread by the sword. It was spread by the word (Islamic teachings) and the example of its followers. Islam teaches that there is no compulsion in religion (the Holy Qur'an 2:256 and 10:99).

Terrorism, unjustified violence and the killing of innocent people are absolutely forbidden in Islam. Islam is a way of life that is meant to bring peace to a society, whether its people are Muslim or not. The extreme actions of those who claim to be Muslim may be, among other things, a result of their ignorance or uncontrolled anger. Tyrant rulers and those who commit acts of terrorism in the name of Islam are simply not following Islam. These people are individuals with their own views and political agendas.
The word "jihad" does not mean "holy war". Instead, it means the inner struggle that one endures in trying to submit their will to the will of God. Some Muslims may say they are going for "jihad" when fighting in a war to defend themselves or their fellow Muslims, but they only say this because they are conceding that it will be a tremendous struggle. But there are many other forms of jihad which are more relevant to the everyday life of a Muslim such as the struggles against laziness, arrogance, stinginess, or the struggle against a tyrant ruler or against the temptation of Satan, or against one's own ego, etc.
Women are not oppressed in Islam. Any Muslim man that oppresses a woman is not following Islam. Among the many teachings of Prophet Muhammad that protected the rights and dignity of women is his saying, "...the best among you are those who treat their wives well." (Tirmidhi)

Islam grants women numerous rights in the home and in society. Among them are the right to earn money, to financial support, to an education, to an inheritance, to being treated kindly, to vote, to a dowry, to keep their maiden name, to worship in a mosque, etc., etc.

Muslim women wear the head-covering (hijab) in fulfillment of God's decree to dress modestly. From a practical standpoint, it serves to identify one as attempting to follow God in daily life and, therefore, protects women from unwanted advances from men. This type of modest dress has been worn by righteous women throughout history. Prominent examples are traditional Catholic Nuns, Mother Teresa and the Virgin Mary, mother of Jesus.

Arranged marriages are allowed in Islam but are not required. Whereas "forced" marriages, usually stemming from cultural practice, are forbidden. Divorce is permissible, however, reconciliation is what is most encouraged. But if there are irreconcilable differences then Islam permits a fair and just divorce.

All Muslims are not Arab. Islam is a universal religion and way of life which includes followers from all races of people. There are Muslims in and from virtually every country in the world. Arabs only constitute about 20% of Muslims worldwide. Indonesia has the largest concentration of Muslims with over 120 million.

In the five daily prayers, Muslims face the Kaaba in Mecca, Arabia. It is a cube-shaped stone structure that was originally built by Prophet Adam and later rebuilt by Prophet Abraham. Muslims believe that the Kaaba was the first house of worship on Earth dedicated to the worship of one god. Muslims do not worship the Kaaba. It serves as a central focal point for Muslims around the world, unifying them in worship and symbolizing their common belief, spiritual focus and direction. Interestingly, the inside of the Kaaba is empty.

According to recent statistics, the world population is estimated to be 6.5 billion people. And, do you know how many muslims live around the world? The world Muslim population is around 1.5 billion people. So, nearly one in five people in the world today claim the faith of Islam.
