Wahabis calling themselves Salafis

Wahabis calling themselves Salafis- The most extremist pseudo-Sunni movement today is Wahabism (also known as Salafism).

Al-Hamdu Lillaahi Rabbil ‘Alamin was-Salatu was-Salamu ‘alá Asra fil Anbiyaa wal Mursaleen.
“There is no helper but Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD),
No guide but (Prophet Muhammad Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) messenger of Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD), no provision but Taqwa

“My family, my possessions and my life are sacrificed for my most beloved Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) and his honor.”

What rights do Wahabis have to damage Islam’s image and past history?
In the west they preserve each and every stone of their history
Why are you destroying our Islamic history?
Off course your answer will be-Who needs Islamic history when you can have fancy clock towers!
Fancy hotels! Hajj will be for the rich only.

Bulldozing these historic sites so that more hotels (like the clock tower can be built is just plain wrong. (Find out who owns these hotels, palaces?) Most of them are owned by Relations of the ruling clans.
Very few people and I repeat very few people can actually afford to stay in these hotels.
Rests of the people who are not financially strong don’t get any benefit from these activities.
They stay in hotels that are quite a distance from Haram.
The closer the hotel is to Haram, its rates are much higher.

Dig and dig some more build a clock tower here and build sky scrapper there. Build it on top of Islamic History. (Kind of wipe it out) who are you fooling?
(It doesn’t matter if the flow of zam-zam is being affected. (Yup that too is happing).

Never underestimate the honor and role Almighty Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) gave to Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam. So what rights do you Wahabis have for the damage you are doing to Islam’s image and past history?
Subhan’Allah! All was intact till the Wahabis rose to power in the early nineteenth century.
Destruction of the heritage of Islam by the Wahabis of Saudi Arabia (ruling clan)...
. In the west they preserve each and every stone of their history and the Wahabis pretty much destroyed it all.
Who needs history when you can have fancy clock towers! Fancy hotels! And Palaces!
The most brutal, beastly and inhuman treachery in the history of mankind is the desecration
And destruction of the pious Graves of the family members of Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam)
, Sahbah (RadiAllahu anhu), Imams and Awliya Allah in Saudi Arabia in the hands of fanatic Wahabis. Human history has seen many massacres of living people, but no one has seen desecration and destruction of the graves and memorials of the ancestors of the defeated people in the hands of triumphant army. Salafis are the only people in the known history of mankind who have this dubious distinction.

Roads, Buildings, toilets and factories were made on the pious graves of the family members of The Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) and the Sahbah .Mosques were destroyed to make commercial buildings. Parking lots were made on the graves of the Martyrs of Uhud and Badr Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) house was destroyed in Makkah and public toilets were made on it. We do not know how many of the pious graves of Sahaba were turned in sewage lines and septic tanks in Saudi Arabia.

WHAT HAPPENED TO MORE THAN SIXTY THOUSAND PIOUS BODIES OF SAHABAH (R.A.?)
No one knows what happened to the bodies of more than 60,000 Sahbah R.A.) whose graves were dug and destroyed by fanatic Wahabis.

Don't believe you can measure their bravery.
Khalid bin Walid (ra) - Had the pure desire to die on the battlefield fi sabil illah
Umar (R.A.) - Had the power and strength and Tawakkul in Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) to face any opposition.
Ali (R.A.) - Had the pure heart of a Lion even at a young age - story of when he fought Amr bin Abdu Wud comes to mind.
Think about sahabi like Talhah ibn Ubaydullah who took arrow after arrow eventually crippling him,
Just standing like a rock defending the arrows from hitting the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam)

Sad ibn Abi Waqqas R.A. the first Muslim to kill in Jihad -
A sahabi that even Umar (R.A.) was scared of because of the fact that he had the blessing that every single one of his Du'a would be answered.
It was said about his body that sahabi would be shocked that he was still alive after seeing the scars and war wounds he had over his body.

Or Abd-Allah ibn Umm-Maktum R.A. - The blind old man, who desired death on the battle field so much that he begged and begged Umar (R.A) to allow him to be present on the battle field, as he was blind he couldn't fight so he was the standard bearer, he was killed with the standard still in his hands not letting go despite being stabbed many times. A blind man knowing death was in the hands of Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD), but more than likely on a battlefield... That’s bravery.
My friends List of Sahaba could go on forever...
We feel sad that we weren't around The Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) but really we should be grateful Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) didn't place these test of the Sahaba upon us,
Surely we would be the greatest of cowards..!!
All were equal in their own special ways.
All would sacrifice their live for Almighty Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) and his Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam)
All would sacrifice their lives for Islam.
Thus no comparison all were simply amazing

Sahih Al Bukhari:
9.213:
Narrated Ibn `Umar: I heard Allah’s Apostle while he was facing the East, saying,
“Verily! Afflictions are there, from where the side of the head of Satan comes out.” 9.214:
Narrated Ibn `Umar: The Prophet said, “O Allah! Bestow Your
Blessings on our Sham! O Allah! Bestow your blessings on our
Yemen.” The People said, “And also on our Najd.” He said, “O
Allah! Bestow your blessings on our Sham (north)! O Allah!
Bestow your blessings on our Yemen
.” The people said, “O Allah’s Apostle! And also on our Najd.” I think the third time
The Prophet said, “There (in Najd) is the place of earthquakes
And afflictions and from there comes out the side of the head of Satan.”

I think it is more appropriate to call those who adhere to the teaching of the Abdul-Wahab as Wahabis rather than Hanbali.
The most extremist pseudo-Sunni movement today is Wahabism (also known as Salafism). While many may think that Wahhabi terror is a recent phenomenon that has only targeted non-Muslims, it will surprise many to know that the orthodox Sunni Muslims were the first to be slaughtered in waves of Wahhabi massacres in Arabia hundreds of years ago. One only has to read the historical evolution of Saudi Arabia to know the gruesome details of the tragedy – a tragedy in which thousands of Sunni and Shies Muslims perished at the hands of Wahhabi militants.

The extremist interpretations of Wahabism was although previously confined to small pockets of people in Arabia, has survived to this day under the protection, finance, and tutelage of the Saudi state religious organs. This has transformed Wahabism – and related Salafi groups that receive inspiration and support from them – from a regional to a global threat to be reckoned with by the world community. To a Wahhabi-Salafi, all those who differ with them, including Sunni Muslims, Shei’as Muslims, Christians, and Jews, are infidels who are fair targets.
Because Wahabis claim to be “true Sunnis,” it is difficult for one who is unfamiliar with Wahabism to distinguish it from orthodox Sunni Islam. If a Wahhabi is asked if he/she is Sunni, he/she will always reply in the affirmative. When asked if they are Wahabis, they reply with an emphatic “no” as they consider it an insult to what they believe and stand for:  “Purity of worship and reverence to God alone. The authentic carriers of Islam from the time of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) until now.:” Calling them Wahabis implies that they learned ideas from a man – Muhammad ibn Abdul-Wahhab – instead of the Qur’an and Sunnah – the two great sources of Islam. Irrespective of what they think, they are not following the Islamic sources authentically, but the wrong interpretations of the founder of the Wahhabi movement who appeared in the 1700s. Sunnis and other Wahhabi detractors have labeled them as Wahabis to differentiate them from orthodox Sunnis.

Wahabis differentiate themselves from orthodox Sunnis by labeling themselves Salafis, which refers to the word salaf – the time period in which the early Muslims lived in the first 300 years after the Hijra, or emigration, of The Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) from Mecca to Medina in 622.  The Companions (Sahabi), those who followed the Companions (Tabi’in), and those who followed those who followed the Companions (Taba al-Tabi’in) who lived in the time period of the Salaf are exemplars par excellence of what Muslims should be, as The Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) had praised these Muslims as being the best of Muslims.  Therefore, it has been the aim of every Muslim since the time of The Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) to adhere to and to follow the footsteps of the adherents of the salaf.  This means that when a Wahhabi calls himself a Salafi, he claims to be a genuine follower of pristine Islam. This, however, is far from the truth.

Orthodox Sunni Muslims believe that they are the true bearers of pristine Islam since the time period of the Salaf. Because there were time gaps between the noble period of the Salaf and centuries that followed, the authentic positions of the early Muslims were passed by scholars in those times and afterwards to later generations via meticulous, systematic, and methodological means of preservation. The knowledge was passed from qualified scholars to other qualified scholars through the centuries, who passed it to the masses.  This uninterrupted chain of knowledge from the time of the Salaf until now has been authentically preserved by the orthodox Sunnis.  Orthodox Sunnis, therefore, have roots in the Salaf, and are represented today by the four surviving authentic schools of Islamic jurisprudence:  Hanafi, Shafi, Maliki, and Hanbali schools (madhhab).

The Wahabis, by calling themselves Salafis, not only claim to follow the footsteps of the early Muslims, but also use semantics to fool and allure less informed Muslims into accepting Wahabism. Wahabis say, “You must follow the Muslims of the Salaf.” (This is undoubtedly true.) Then the Wahhabi semantics: “Therefore you must be a Salafi and nothing else. Following anything else means you’re following a path that is different from the Muslims of the Salaf.” By such deceptive semantics, the less informed Muslims believe that Salafis must truly represent the pristine interpretations of the early Muslims of the Salaf.  After all, the word Salafi sounds like Salaf, so it must truly be representative of it. (It’s Far from it).  When the less informed goes beyond semantics and blind faith and investigates what a Salafi believes, the truth unveiled is that the understanding of Salafis (Wahabis) is different and contradictory to the understanding and positions of the pious Muslims who lived in the Salaf – and the majority of Muslims who have ever lived (Sunnis).

Wahabism is named after its founder, Muhammad ibn `Abdul-Wahhab (1703-1792), and has its roots in the land now known as Saudi Arabia. Without this man, the al-Sa`ud , one of many clans spread over the Arabian peninsula, would not have had the inspiration, reason, and determination to consolidate the power that they did and wage "jihad" on people they perceived to be “polytheists” – those who attribute partners in worship to Almighty God. How intimately close was al-Sa`ud’s association with Muhammad ibn Abdul-Wahhab?
Robert Lacey eloquently illustrates this association:
Until [Muhammad ibn Abdul-Wahhab’s] coming the Al Sa`ud  had been a minor shakily clan like many others in Najd, townsmen and farmers, making a comfortable living from trade, dates and perhaps a little horse-breeding, combining with the desert tribes to raid outwards when they felt strong, prudently retrenching in times of weakness.  Modestly independent, they were in no way empire builders, and it is not likely that the wider world would ever have heard of them without their alliance with the Teacher.

Sa`ud family:
The al-Sa`ud family are originally from the village of ad-Diriyah, located in Najd, in eastern Arabia situated near modern day Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia.  Ancestors of Sa`ud Ibn Muhammad, whom little is known about, settled in the area as agriculturists and gradually grew in number over time into the clan of al-Sa`ud .

 Their Teacher:
Muhammad ibn Abdul-Wahhab was raised in Uyaynah, an oasis in southern Najd, and was from the Banu Tamim tribe. He came from a religious family and left Uyaynah in pursuit of Islamic knowledge.  He traveled to Mecca, Medina, Iraq, and Iran to acquire knowledge from different teachers.  When he returned to his homeland of Uyaynah, he preached what he believed to be Islam in its purity – which was, in fact, a vicious assault on traditional Sunni Islam.

The orthodox Sunni scholar Jamil Effendi al-Zahawi said that the teachers of Ibn `Abdul-Wahhab, including two teachers he had studied with in Medina – Sheikh Muhammad Ibn Suleiman al-Kurdi and Sheikh Muhammad Hayat al-Sindi – became aware of his anti-Sunni Wahhabi creed and warned Muslims from him. His sheikhs, including the two aforementioned sheikhs, used to say:  “God will allow him [to] be led astray; but even unhappier will be the lot of those misled by him.”

Moreover, Ibn `Abdul-Wahhab’s own father had warned Muslims from him, as did his biological brother, Suleiman Ibn `Abdul-Wahhab, an orthodox Sunni scholar who refuted him in a book entitled al-Sawa’iq al-Ilahiyya fi al-radd `ala al-Wahhabi ya [“Divine Lighting’s in Refuting the Wahabis”].  Ibn `Abdul-Wahhab was refuted by the orthodox Sunni scholars for his many ugly innovations. Perhaps his most famous book, Kitaab at-Tawheed (Book of Unity of God) is widely circulated amongst Wahabis worldwide, including the United States. His book is popular in Wahhabi circles, although orthodox Sunni scholars have said that there is nothing scholarly about it, both in terms of its content and its style.

Wahabism, Salafism, call it what ever you want,
Is a real disease in the Arabian Peninsula that is being exported to other parts of the world?
It's very reminiscent of fascism in that it takes no hostages
And carries out its acts with ideological narrow mindedness that leaves little,
If any, room for debate. Add to that, too, that Muslims in the Arab world have little or no knowledge of what is taking place in Saudi Arabia,
And you have a real recipe for inaction!
There is also the direction local/international media have taken
And their shameful silence which only plays into the hands of the fanatics.
I’m sure that most Muslims and the Arabs among them especially, have a fondness of these holy sites
And would hate for them to be destructed;
In fact, I remember the outrage in the Muslim world when the Buddhist temples were attacked by those mindless fanatics,
So there can be no arguing that Muslims are knowingly overlooking these attacks on their culture!
Thankfully, in our day and age, we have the internet which has become a powerful tool in informing people of what is going on,
But if the articles continue to be written in English, they won’t have the desired effect.
Muslims in the west can pressure their governments to call for a halt or a stop to these plans,
But the people who can stop these plans are Arabs living in those parts of the world,
And since most of them are not English speakers, the calls for an end to this madness will not go very far. Those are our shortcomings, really.

Tombs of Ibn Taymiyya and Ibn Kathir....
Meet the double standard Wahabism, Salafism...
The same Wahabis acted differently when the Sufi cemetery was razed by Syrian Wahabis to make way for the campus of the University of Damascus in that city.
King Abd al-Aziz Ibn Saud of Saudi Arabia intervened personally,
On the advise of Salafi Clergy, to preserve intact the graves and tombs of Ibn Taymiyya and his student Ibn Kathir.
(Ibn Taymiyya Grave is near Baramkeh, Syria inside Damascus University campus and behind a maternity hospital).

A pamphlet published by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs,
Endorsed by Abdul Aziz Al Sheikh, the Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia, and
Distributed at the Prophet’s Mosque, where Mohammed,
Abu Bakr, and the Islamic Caliph Umar ibn Al Khattab are buried, reads,
“The green dome shall be demolished and the three graves flattened in the Prophet’s Mosque,”

The late Muhammad ibn Al Uthaymeen,
One of Saudi Arabia’s most prominent Wahabis clerics, who delivered sermons in Mecca’s Grand
Mosque for over 35 years: said “We hope one day we’ll be able to destroy the green dome of the Prophet Mohammed,”

Respected and Loved by Salafi /Wahabis
In at least five of his books Late Albany the Sheik
Respected and Loved by Salafi /Wahabis calls for the
Demolition of the Green Dome of the Prophet’s(s) Mosque in al-Madinah al-Munawwarah
And for taking the Prophet’s(s) grave outside the Mosque_ (read and learn from books of Islamic history)

All evidence of these 300 date palms originally planted by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) on the site had disappeared. In the middle of what was once a sacred piece of Madinah was a modern school.
I was horrified. The noble Prophet had expressly forbidden the wanton destruction of fruit trees in the two Holy Sanctuaries. Furthermore, next to water, the date palm was the most important symbol of life in the desert. Fresh dates had been the food of Miriam, the mother of Jesus, and Imam Bukhari the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) had once stated that Madina’s famous ‘ajwat dates were a great cure for sickness.
...I recalled a passage from Ahmad Thompson's The Way Back, a diarized account of his Hajj in 1977, when he was given three dates from the last two surviving palms planted by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam):
We were joined by a tall smiling man from the Sudan who was one of the fuqara of Sheikh Ul-Bukhari. He greeted us warmly and then produced three small wrinkled dates from one of the pockets of his voluminous white robe and handed them to me with a quiet, “Bismillah!”
These are some of the last dates to be harvested from the last two surviving date palms planted by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam)," explained 'Abd ul-Jalil. "They were recently cut down by the Wahabis because, they said, some people were idolizing them.
The Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) planted all but one of the 300 palms with his own hands [as a ransom for his enslaved Companion Salmon al-Farsi]. Some of the trees he inserted into the earth seemed dead, but soon sprouted after he had pressed the soil around their roots.
These buildings have, supposedly, been standing since 6th century.
Throughout that time there have been plenty of opportunities for "shirk" and yet these buildings still stand.
Why are they being destroyed now? Is this generation the wisest and most devout?
Or is it just the generation that has most to gain from building hotels?

July 1, 2012, will remain a sad day for Mali, the Islamic world and humanity as a whole. On this day, centuries-old Sufi shrines
And mosques of the ancient city of Timbuktu, known as the "City of 333 Saints", began to be systematically demolished by Wahabis extremists
Who are wrongly portrayed as Muslims – or hard-line Sunnis - although their actions and beliefs have nothing to do with Islam?

Some of the destroyed sites, like the shrines of Sidi Mahmood Ben Ammar,
Alfa Moya Lamtouni and Sheikh Sidi El Mukhtar Ben Sidi Mohammed, as well as the main gate of the Sidi Yahya mosque, had been added to the UNESCO World Heritage registry in 1988.

Learn from history......YEARS OF TERROR
Sufis spread a message of love, peace and interfaith harmony
If we study the Islamic history, it becomes crystal clear that Sufis had a major role in the spread and propagation of Islam.
The monuments of these Sufis are present in different parts of the world and hundreds of thousands of pilgrims visit them.
These saints are the chosen people of God who are still source of righteousness for the people.
Sacrilege of their shrines and violent acts against them does not show love not enmity of Islam.
Those who love Islam can never even think of insulting the graves of their elders and ancestors.
Because it’s the Last Prophet of Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam)
Who introduced Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) to us?
And after him the message of Islam reached to us through his companions, their followers, and saints and pious people which form a hierarchy.
If we remove any link from it, how is it possible that we can get access to the right teachings?
It is because of this that all religious figures and their shrines are respectable for us.
No Muslims believes in worshipping the shrines or graves nor does anyone do so.
The opponents make this propaganda to prove their point.
Even if anyone does so because of his or her ignorance, it does not mean that it is the fault of occupant of the shrine.
We should try to eliminate ignorance, instead of demolishing the source of knowledge.
Sufis and saints who preached peace and love,
Extremists bombed the shrine/bulldozed
In 2010, extremists bombed the shrine of well-known Sufi master and Wali,
Hazrat Data Ganj Bakhsh Ali Hujweri, in Lahore, Pakistan, killing 42 people.
In April 2011, during the annual festival at a large Sufi shrine in southern Punjab in Pakistan,
Two suicide bombers set off an explosion killing more than 40 worshippers and injuring hundreds more.
Again in April 2011, in the Egyptian town of Qalyoub, armed with crowbars and sledgehammers,
Two dozen salafi fanatics arrived at the Sidi Abdul Rahman shrine in the middle of the night aiming to smash it to pieces.
Five other shrines in Qalyoub were destroyed soon after Hosni Mubarak fall from power.
Following these events, the head of al-Azhar, Sheikh Ahmed El-Tayyib, has called for efforts to confront hard-line extremist doctrine.
Extremists bulldozed their way into a Benghazi cemetery and carted off the remains of 29 respected sages and scholars to dump elsewhere.
When militants threatened Libya's biggest shrine at Zlitan in March,
Armed volunteers rushed there in pick-up trucks mounted with weapons to defend it.
February 25 - March 3
 Blast at shrine kills four
A bomb exploded at a shrine in central Sindh, Pakistan killing four people and wounding at least 12.
The blast tore through Dargah Pir Hajan Shah Huzoor in the Mari village, near Shikarpur Pakistan,
A large number of devotees were at the shrine.
On February 25, a blast tore through the Ghulam Shah Ghazi shrine in Mari village in Shikarpur District, Pakistan.
Killing four people on the scene and wounding more than 27 others.
Pir Syed Hajan Shah – a spiritual leader and Gaddin Nasheen (spiritual descendant) of the saint honored at the shrine
 – Later succumbed to his wounds March 4.
After news spread of Shah's death, markets,
Businesses and trade centers across Sindh, Pakistan closed down March 5 voluntarily to honor him.

Militants also attacked the convoy of spiritual leader Syed Hussain Shah – Known as Sahen Hussain Shah Qambar: – February 20 with a remote-controlled bomb in the Ahmed Deen Brohi area of Jacobabad District. Pakistan
He escaped unharmed, but the bomb killed his grandson Shafq Shafi Shah and injured eight others.

Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) used to greet those who were buried in al-Baqi by saying,
"Peace be upon you, O abode of the faithful! Allah willing, we should soon join you. O' Allah, forgive the fellows of al-Baqi".

What is Jannat al Baqi and where is it?
It’s in Madinah, Saudi Arabia.
Literally "al-Baqi" means a tree garden. It is also known as "Jannat al-Baqi" due to its sanctity,
Since in it are buried many of our Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam)'s relatives and companions.
The first companion buried in al-Baqi was Uthman b. Madhoon R.A. who died on the 3rd of Sha'ban in the 3rd year of Hijra.
The Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) ordered certain trees to be felled, and in its midst, he buried his dear companion, placing two stones over the grave.
On the following years, Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) s son Ibrahim, who died in infancy and over whom the Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) wept bitterly, was also buried there.
The people of Madinah then began to use that site for the burial of their own dead,
Because the Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) used to greet those who were buried in al-Baqi by saying,
"Peace be upon you, O abode of the faithful! Allah willing, we should soon join you. O' Allah, forgive the fellows of al-Baqi".
The site of the burial ground at al-Baqi was gradually extended.
Nearly seven thousand companions of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) were buried there,
Not to mention those of the Ahlul Bayt (R.A). Imam Hasan b. Ali (R.A.), Imam Ali b. al-Hussain (R.A.),
Muhammad al-Baqir (R.A) and Imam Ja'far al-Sadiq (R.A.) were all buried there.
Among other relatives of the Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) who were buried at al-Baqi are:
his aunts Safiya and Aatika, And his Aunt Fatima bint al-Asad, the mother of Ali (R.A.).
The third caliph Uthman R.A. was buried outside al-Baqi, but with later extensions, his grave was included in the area.
In later years, great Muslim scholars like Malik bin Anas (ra). And many others were buried there too.
Thus, did al-Baqi become a well-known place of great historic significance to all Muslims?

Al-Baqi as viewed by historians
Umar bin Jubair describes al-Baqi as he saw it during his travel to Madinah, saying "Al-Baqi is situated to the east of Madinah.
You enter it through the gate known as the gate of al-Baqi. As you enter, the first grave you see on your left is that of Safiya,
The Prophet's aunt, and further still is the grave of Malik bin Anas, the Imam of Madinah.
On his grave is raised a small dome. In front of it is the grave of Ibrahim son of our Prophet (s) with a white dome over it,
And next to it on the right is the grave of Abdul-Rahman son of Umar bin al-Khattab, popularly known as Abu Shahma,
Whose father had kept punishing him till death overtook him? Facing it are the graves of Aqeel bin Abi Talib and Abdullah bin Ja'far al-Tayyar.
There, facing those graves is a small shrine containing the graves of the Prophet's wives, following by a shrine of Abbas bin Abdul Muttalib.

The grave of Hasan bin Ali (R.A.), situated near the gate to it's right hand, has an elevated dome over it.
His head lies at the feet of Abbas bin Abdul Muttalib R.A., and both graves are raised high above the ground,
Their walls are paneled with yellow plates and studded with beautiful star-shaped nails.
This is how the grave of Ibrahim, son of the Prophet (s) has also been adorned.
Behind the shrine of Abbas there is the house attributed to Fatima RadiAllahu .Anha, daughter of our Prophet (s),
Known as "Bayt al-Azaan" (the house of grief) because it is the house she used to frequent in order to mourn the death of her father, The chosen one, peace be upon him. At the farthest end of al-Baqi is the grave of the caliph Othman R.A.,
With a small dome over it, and there, next to it, is the grave of Fatima bint Asad, mother of Ali b. Abi Talib (R.A.)".
.After a century and a half, the famous traveler Ibn Batuta came to describe al-Baqi in a way which does not in any way differ from the description given by Ibn Jubair.
He adds saying, "At al-Baqi are the graves of numerous Muhajirin and Ansar and many companions of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam),
Except that most of their names are unknown."
Thus, over the centuries, al-Baqi remained a sacred site with renovations being carried out as and when needed till the Wahabis rose to power in the early nineteenth century.
The latter desecrated the tombs and demonstrated disrespect to the martyrs and the companions of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam), buried there.
Muslims who disagreed with them were branded as "infidels" and were subsequently killed.

If the Saudi government was destroying these historic structures based on the assumption that ‘more people’ can be accommodated,
I would have supported their decision.
However, bulldozing these historic sites so that more hotels (like the clock tower) can be built is just plain wrong.
Very few people and I repeat very few people can actually afford to stay in these hotels.
Rests of the people who are not financially strong don’t get any benefit from these activities.
They stay in hotels that are quite a distance from Haram.
The closer the hotel is to Haram, its rates are much higher.

All Muslim countries should be putting pressure on Al Saud that these sites are not the property of you evil ancestors,
These sites are world heritage and specially for Muslims,

They should think of other ways to expand the mosque, without demolishing the existing one.
By the way, why not demolish the sky scrappers?
"They plan, and Allah plans and Allah is the Best of Planners."

I am very sad about what is happening in Mecca and Medina
And that we Muslims just watch and do nothing as it is Al Aqsa in Israel

In one moment, a mob of barbarians can destroy a country's history,
Can erase the work of lifetimes of scholars,
Can inflict a wound on humanity that it will still be suffering 1, 0000 years later -
Long after the philosophy and cause of the barbarians is forgotten.

Custodian of the Holy places of Islam should be an Organization of World Muslims and not the Saudi Family.

Greed
K`ab bin Malik (R.A.) reported: Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) said,
"Two hungry wolves sent in the midst of a flock of sheep
Are no more destructive to them than a man's greed for wealth and fame is to his Deen.'' [At-Tirmidhi]

The situation reminds me of the English Reformation, once the break with Rome had been made the old religious sites
And iconographies were destroyed and the 'new' religion was the only choice.
By destroying the holy sites the Wahabis leave other believers with no focus and so nothing to remind them of traditional beliefs.
After a few generations even the memory of important sites will fade
And the Wahabis will be in a strong position as the global leaders of Islam.

Since, throughout the Islamic civilization and its history no historical monument, shrine,
Church was destroyed until your lovely Wahabis sect appeared on the face of the earth
And with your Dawa destroyed the Buddhist temple in Afghanistan,
Abolished the house of Khadija R.A., the first wife of the Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam)
Whom without her, he status, her money, and her power he would have to struggle harder,
And instead you dared to build a Public Toilet in its place.
I might add while you are at it why not abolish the Ka’ba in Mecca isn’t it also an idol and was used in the past as a place for idol worshipping!
They state that this sheikh came at a time to cleanse the community from paganism and idol worshipping!
Or what about the black stone (al hajar al aswad) that is in fact meteorite that fell from the sky supposedly dated back to Abraham this is paganism.
But the truth is you are only trying to abolish history or should I say his/ her story!
And any sights or trace that relates to the history of WOMEN in Arabia and their influence and their side of the story of Islam.
Shame on you and whomever has done this in your county.

Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam), warned 1400 hundred years ago a great Fitna (evil, tribulations) devil horns
And the helpers of Anti Christ (Dajjal) will arise from Najd Riyadh Saudi Arabia
And Islam and all true Muslims will have noting to do with this evil pseudo Islamic cult of Wahabis
Who will terrorize not only the Muslims but all the people of the world?
Unfortunately the west had failed to realize this warning of a TRUE prophet of Almighty Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam),
And wanted to destroy the Islam from within by supporting this evil Wahabis cult with the consequence that such evil begets only evil
And this child of west the Wahabis Saudi has now turned against its own benefactor the western world.

So remember this they are all most finishing their work of Destruction of the heritage of Islam in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.
Madinah is where their work starts now Demolition of the Green Dome of the Prophet’s(s) Mosque in al-Madinah al-Munawwarah
And for taking the Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) grave outside the Mosque_ (read and learn from books on Islamic history my friends).
There are many sincere Muslims be it in Saudi Arabia
Or else where but with different doctrines & ideologies but we must never underestimate the honor & role Almighty Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) gave to Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam). He is NO ordinary man and NONE of us mortals can ever be like him as he is CHOSEN by the Almighty himself.
Almighty Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) is with you and in you.
Almighty Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) said that he is nearer to us than our jugular vein – Qur’an.
We are connected to the divine via our hearts, as Almighty Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) only looks at our hearts.
Just like the internet which is connected to the main server. As long as you are still alive, you are connected BUT when you die the connection is severed.

Custodian of the Holy places of Islam should be an Organization of World Muslims and not the Saudi Family.

“My family, my possessions and my life are sacrificed for my most beloved Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) and his honor.”

Please pray for me and ask Almighty Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) to forgive me.
May Almighty Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) guide all of us to His Truth?
May Allah Subhanahu wata`aalaa grant us what is best in this world and the next!
Action speaks louder then words my friend’s practice Islam the way of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) did.
May Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) help us to do that which He loves and which pleases Him?
May Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) make our efforts sincere and keep us all on the straight path………..
Feel free to Share the information here with everyone you know,

May Almighty Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala make it a source of Sawab-e-Jariya

From whichever angle you view it Islam is the Religion of PEACE AND LOVE……

     Islam means peace and love

Al-Hamdu Lillaahi Rabbil ‘Alamin was-Salatu was-Salamu ‘alá Asra fil Anbiyaa wal Mursaleen.
“There is no helper but Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD),
No guide but (Prophet Muhammad Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) messenger of Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD), no provision but Taqwa

There is a common stereotype that dominates the minds of some Muslims
And Non-Muslims alike where they think that Islam calls for wars
With those who do not hold the Islamic beliefs.
Reading the base principles of Islam with relation to the struggle that prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam)
And his followers had to go through in order to spread peace, reveals the fallacy of that notion.
"S.l.m" is the root out of which the words Islam and salaam (peace) are derived.
Salaam is the word that is used for everyday greeting for the followers of Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam).
Al-Salaam is one of Allah's names as mentioned in the Holy Qur’an.
Salaam or peace is the status of a person who becomes worthy of being a Servant of Allah ‘Abdullah:

Servants of Allah the most Compassionate are those who walk on earth in modesty
And if ignorant people address them, they say," Peace
(HQ: 25:63).

Peace has a very special meaning in the Call that the prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) carried.
Without discerning that meaning,
We are not able to catch up with the changing events in his life
That seem contradictory sometimes, and therefore, they are misinterpreted.

Peace has not merely a political dimension where people just live together without fighting for mutual interests.
It is not an enforced state to make the weak unable to fight the stronger.
Peace overwhelms human relations when inner peace spreads in the hearts of humans collectively, and freedom is guarded.

Peace is a spiritual state, which reflects the inner freedom.
Once the person has nothing to fear in the world
And nothing to give an absolute value to,
Peace and serenity overwhelm her/his soul,
And his/her own existence will spread energy of love.

Peace on the social level cannot be realized fully and truly without an inner one.
We are spreading wars because we create our enemy to release the conflicts that overwhelm our souls.
We invent reasons that may appear logical and acceptable in order to justify our attacks, Aggression and violence. Differences in beliefs, ideas, traditions,
And thoughts can never be legitimate reasons for wars and aggression.
Life, according to teachings of Islam,
Is a very precious gift and should be cherished with great respect.
Therefore, wars should be avoided, and violence should not be practiced against any person.

.. If anyone kills a person who did not kill, and did not mischief on earth,
It would be as if he killed all human beings.
And if any one saved a life of one person,
It would be as if he saved the life of all human beings. (HQ: 5: 32) (Our translation)

The Islamic Call came to educate human beings to know themselves;
Their true selves, so they could be in control of their low selves with all its desires and egoistic endeavors.
To tame this animal like ego is the real challenge, which is called the great struggle al-Jihad al-Akbar.
The smaller struggle Al-jihad al- asghar is known through entering into a physical battle,
When there are no other alternatives.
One does this for an ultimate goal,
Not just defending his own life as an individual, but also facing courageously any power that aims to conquer the Truth.
In the middle of the battle, the motive of the martyr is not to revenge but to defend a higher cause. Unless her/his heart is full of peace,
S/he would not be considered a Muslim, and martyrdom would not be achieved.
The lower self should not take the lead in defending the cause of Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD).
That is only possible if the fight is done for the sake of peace.

What makes the worrier in control of the lower self is her/his remembrance of Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD).
In the Holy Qur’an, the phrase "Fear Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD)"Is repeated enormously with the aim to bring to the consciousness the awareness of the Divine Presence.
Bringing that awareness supports the state of peace within one's soul and overcomes the tempting aggression of the self.

The prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam)
Struggles for Peace in Madinah

Naturally, the prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) would expect to spread peace and to live in peace.
When he migrated to Madinah, he brought peace to conflicting tribes there.
It was clear that Peace was the goal to be realized among people from different faiths, And/ or from different races.
Muslims had the responsibility to spread peace and to absorb the enmity of others.
A Muslim can diminish hatred by spreading love; Dark by shedding light and aggressiveness by dispersing peacefulness.

Nor can Goodness and Evil be equal. Repel (Evil) with what is better:
Then will he between whom and thee was hatred become as it was thy friend and intimate! (HQ: 41:34).

From that core principle, the prophet Muhammad Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) set the rules of the necessity to live in peace with citizens from the same community and to conform to its legal system whether Muslims form the majority or the minority of that community.

During this period, the Muslims' power was getting greater, not because they intended to be more powerful,
But because they were attacked, and they unexpectedly were winning almost every battle that they had to enter.
All the battles they fought were for defense. In other words they had no choice but to enter those battles.

The other reason that he (Prophet Muhammad Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam)
Fought for was when people with whom he made a covenant or a treaty, Broke them. Muslims were asked to be alert and ready to fight with those people.

But if they violate their oaths after their covenant, and taunt you for your Faith,
Fight ye the chiefs of Unfaith: for their oaths are nothing to them: that thus they may be restrained (HQ: 9:12).

What happened in Madinah's time made this period appear somehow as different from Mecca’s period?
The Prophet of Allah (Muhammad Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) became a ruler of a community, which put different kinds of responsibilities on his shoulders.
He had to settle different conflicts among the tribes of Madinah and looked to establish a homogeneous community.
He was supported by the Revelation and succeeded to found a just society
Where people from different ethnic origins,
And different religious affiliations were treated equally and given the right to use their Holy Books as their legal frame of reference for their disputes:

Let the People of the Gospel judge by what Allah hath revealed therein
(HQ: 5: 14).

But why do they come to thee for decision, when they have (their own) Law before them?
Therein is the (plain) command of Allah
(HQ: 5: 43)

Because The Prophet (Muhammad Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) became a ruler,
Many historians (Muslim and non-Muslims) confuse between the religious call
And the political status of The Prophet (Muhammad Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam), Thinking that establishing an Islamic society was the major goal of the call, And as such turning Religion into politics. From this perspective, they mistakenly think that
The prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam)'s battles were for power and authority.

Prophet (Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam)
Peace for the Whole World
While it is true that The Prophet (Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam)
Played a political role as a head of a community,
The religious Call he carried remained clear and distinct.
By being a ruler he conveyed a message that is part of the Islamic Call.
He meant to give an example of how the mundane and the sacred are not separated.
Being a prophet did not necessitate that he would leave a task he was chosen to carry.
It was absolutely true that he used his place as a ruler to establish a community overwhelmed by Islamic principles,
And he had to defend those principles by strengthening his position.
Still, no force was used to convert people to Islam.
His ambitions (Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) were not political, But religious, because his call targeted the whole world.

Sending messengers to the great empires of the time was an extension
Of the prime principle of the Call that one should love for one's brother what one loves for oneself.
The most appropriate means at that time to convey what had been revealed to
The Prophet (Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam),
Actually the only available means was to send envoys to heads of different tribes in Arabia And to kings and emperors in the surrounding areas.
In case of great nations such as Rome, Persia and Abyssinia (Ethiopia),
It would have been impossible to reach people in those places without the permission of their rulers.
If the ruler opened to the Call, that would be a great achievement for the message;
It would reach people. While if the ruler did not accept the Call,
Then there would be no chance for people to hear or know about it.
As a messenger from Allah, The Prophet (Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) had no choice but to try the only available way.

When the rulers of great empires at that time refused The Prophet's invitation,
They also wanted to protect themselves from the spread of the call, which may cause disturbances in their countries.
The Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) knew well that their refusal meant also that
They would try to conquer this newly emerging Call. And they did try.
He was not militarily ready to face the world, but he took the risk,
Fulfilling the responsibility that he was given.

As for the messages that the prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) sent to emperors,
Kings and rulers, there are some common traits that are characteristics for those messages.
In order to read them correctly,
We have to take into consideration the connotation of the very thoroughly selected phrases, As well as to relate them to the Holy Qur’an language on one hand, And to the core of the Islamic teachings on the other hand.
Because they were misinterpreted, they leave the impression that
The prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) was threatening the power of those old Empires.

Generally speaking, we can see that all the messages started with the same phrase
"Peace is to whoever is well guided”.
That is the phrase, which the Holy Qur’an mentioned as was used by Moses (Alayhi salaam)
When he went to ask the Pharaoh of Egypt to stop enslaving the children of Israel and get them their freedom.
Moses (Alayhi salaam) did not mean that if the Pharaoh did not listen to his advice he would fight him.
He was doing double mission. On one hand,
He was calling the Pharaoh to believe in Allah who is Supreme Transcendent And cannot be materialized in any shape or idea.
On the other hand, he was asking him to be just and fair.
When the Pharaoh did not listen to Moses (Alayhi salaam),
The latter took the children of Israel out of Egypt and crossed with them the Red Sea in order to go to the land of their fathers.
This phrase of "Peace is to whoever is well guided" should not be taken as a threat.

The other sentence that is also common in the messages is "I invite you to what Islam calls for.
Accept Islam and you will be saved”.
This sentence sounds again like a threat, which is like saying,
"If you don't listen to the call, then you will end up to be crashed by the Muslim forces, and in order to save yourself from that destiny, you should convert to Islam".
To interpret that sentence as such is to consider Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam)
As a crazy man who dared to challenge great powers by such naïve words.
That could never be the case for the prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam)
Who led and ruled the community with wisdom and high moral.
He assumed that if those emperors were wise enough,
They might have allowed Islam's teachings to spread among their people
And they would remain good and just leaders.
The following sentence explained it. "If you do not,
You will be responsible for leading your whole nation astray".
The goal of the messages is well defined.
It should be remembered that the word "Islam"
Meant in The Prophet's use all the Revelations
That preceded Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam).

The argument that the prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) did not mean to threat
Or to wage war against those empires is supported by the fact that he was not as powerful as they were.
He had extremely less supplies of money, Weapons and number of people.
Yet, he found himself in a place where he had to enter into a battle against those strong troops of great empires.
At the same time, it was the prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam)'s task as a prophet to reach human beings who were ready
And waiting for the guidance regardless of how far they were.

“Tell them what Islam is,
If Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) made of you a tool
For guiding one single human being to the Path of Truth,
That is better for you than having the whole world under your thumb”.
Narrated by Al Bukhari and Moslem

"Never be the starters of war.
Even if they started, wait until they kill one of you,
Then tell them: cannot we have any other option than that (killing)?
If even one of them was guided to the righteous path,
That will be one of the best things in the world”.

Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayha Wasallam)
Struggle to Reinforce Peace.....
In new lands, the call for joining Islam's teachings was smooth and peaceful.
The Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) provided his followers with the instructions how to deal with people.

"Tell them first about the content of the Message of Islam
And give them the choice to join Muslims…
If they don't, tell them that the second option is that they can,
Instead pay jizya and we live together in peace.”
Narrated by Muslim, Abu Dawud and Al Tirmidhi

Peace within this context meant that they should accept that Muslims,
Who became responsible for arranging things in those areas after the defeat of their rulers?
Would be their protectors and pay the assigned amount of money
That is devoted to that task, which was called Jizya.
Not paying the Jizya meant that they were violating the Islamic rules, and indicating their enmity.

Along this line, we can also understand the saying Of the Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam)...
"I was commanded to fight people until they say:
We witness that there is no GOD but Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD)
And Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD);
Turn their faces in the direction we do, offer Sacrifices the way we do,
And perform prayers the way we do.
Only then they can save their lives and money from me”
Narrated by Abu Dawud, Al Tirmidhi and Al Nisa’i

The literal meaning of that saying contradicts with many others and with verses in the Holy Qur’an:

No compulsion in religion.
Say, "The Truth is from your Lord": Let him who will, believe, and let him who will, reject (it): (HQ: 18: 29)
If it had been thy Lord's Will, they would all have believed, all who are on earth!
Wilt thou then compel mankind, against their will, to believe! (HQ: 10: 99)

This Hadith should not be taken literally, simply because it would contradict with the basic principles in Islam.
Certainly, the Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam):-Did not intend to fight people In order to force them to be Muslims.
We may deal with the Hadith metaphorically.
It represented The Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam)'s will of spreading the word of truth.
He might meant to say that spreading the word of truth was not an easy task,
It was a struggle against the dark side in people,
And it was his mission as the messenger of Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD),
The light and mercy of Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD), to send away that darkness,
And people, then, were supported to be qualified for witnessing the oneness of Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD).

At that time, international laws did not exist; safe borders were not secured,
And sovereignty of a state was not respected. There was only one language, that is, of power.
The Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam)’s mission was not to impose But to free people from illusions.
The free person guards freedom for all.
All the way through he was forced to fight for survival.

To clarify the situation briefly, the argument is demonstrated along the following points:

1, to be a ruler WAS NOT The Prophet's goal or choice.
He (Prophet Muhammad Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) was chosen by people of Madinah to carry on that responsibility.
He used his position to spread the Call that
Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) charged him with,
Not through violence or power, but by creating an atmosphere of PEACE AND LOVE.

2. The battles that he (Prophet Muhammad Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) had to enter were not a choice either.
There were no other options. The Holy Qur’an addresses Muslims saying,

"Fighting is prescribed upon you, and ye dislike it...” (HQ: 2:216).

The term “prescribed upon you” as read in its context suggests that fighting was a solution for a problem and hence it was a temporal situation.
The verse also points to the fact that fighting was disliked by Muslims because they were trained during the Call to live in peace.
If there was another alternative, The Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) was asked to incline to stop fight.

But if they incline towards peace, do thou (also) incline towards peace, and trust in Allah (HQ: 8: 61).

The first verse that was revealed to allow Muslims to confront those
Who fought them explains the reason of that permission.

To those against whom war is made, permission is given (to confront the aggressor),
Because they are wronged; and verily, Allah is Most Powerful for their aid.
(They are) those who have been expelled from their homes in defiance of right,
(For no cause) except that they say, "Our Lord is Allah (HQ: 22: 39-40).

3. fighting that was prescribed by the Holy Qur’an was not against peace.
It was not done out of hatred or lust for domination.
A fighter was not to fight to earn any special status, or to take any material gains.
He fought only for the sake of Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) and by His name.

4. Fighting as a phase in Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam)'s life was a struggle jihad.
To take the step towards that jihad required great faith in Allah and a degree of inner freedom and inner peace.
Unlike the psychology of soldiers in normal situations of wars,
The Muslim fighter did not defend his life;
Rather he defended the Call, wishing to be killed as a martyr.
The power of faith that he carried made one fighter equal to many.

"Never aspire for confronting your enemies (in a fight).
Pray to Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) to be among those
Who seek living peacefully with others?
But if ever you confront them (in a fight) be patient
And know that Heaven is as close to you as the shades of the swords".
Narrated by Al Bukhari, Moslem and Abu Dawud

To fight was a struggle jihad, because victory was not granted,
And the Muslim troops were almost always less in number.
Fighting was also jihad because it was a result of offence
And aggression from some groups with an intention of oppressing or exploiting others, violating legitimate rights or working for preventing the word of Truth from reaching others.

5. We can safely say that whenever there was an urge to fight in the Holy Qur’an, the reason was also mentioned with an advice to be just, not to exceed the limits, and not to transgress.

Fight in the cause of Allah those who fight you, but do not transgress limits; for Allah loveth not transgressors (HQ: 2:190).

O ye who believe! Stand out firmly for Allah, as witnesses to fair dealing,
And let not the hatred of others to you make you swerve to wrong and depart from justice.
Be just: that is next to Piety: and fear Allah. For Allah is well-acquainted with all that ye do (HQ: 5: 8).

And fight them on until there is no more tumult or oppression,
And there prevails justice and faith in Allah altogether and everywhere;
But if they cease, verily Allah doth see all that they do (HQ: 8: 39).

The Holy Qur’an also guides Muslims to refrain from fighting haphazardly and direct their attacks to innocent people:

Let there be no hostility except to those who practice oppression.
(HQ: 2: 193)

It can be safely said as well that Muslim fighters were guided to be alert
To restore peace at the first sign that transgressors show serious inclination to stop their aggression:

But if they cease, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."
(HQ: 2: 192).

Tolerance in Treating People
From Other Beliefs
........The Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam),
Who did not impose the Islamic teachings on others, tolerated the differences and accepted them as facts.
This was an anticipated attitude from a prophet, who made peace and love,
This was the main core of his mission.
There are many examples in his life that showed this kind of tolerance.
When Asma (RadiAllahu anha), the daughter of his companion Abu Bakr (RadiAllahu anhu) asked him about what she should have done with her mother who was opposing the Islamic teachings,
He answered her that she should keep in good terms with her mother.
Asma (RadiAllahu anha) was a little bit confused because she could not understand one of the verses
That banned a Muslim then from Madinah to take one of the unbelievers as a friend.
The verse says,
"O ye who believe! Take not My enemies and yours as friends (or protectors),
Offering them (your) love, (take them not as friends),
Holding secret converse of love (and friendship) with them: …
And any of you that does this has strayed from the Straight Path (HQ: 60: 1).

Asma’ R.A. came to grips with the fact that this verse meant to point to a certain incident.
The verse criticized a behavior of a Muslim who confined secret information to a person from Quraish whom he considered a friend.
This person delivered the information to the masters of his tribe.
As such he chose to be enemy to Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam)'s message,
So how come that a follower of Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) could have taken him as a friend!

A holy verse was revealed to support The Prophet’s Advice to Asma (R.A):
Allah forbids you not, with regard to those who fight you not for (your) Faith
Nor drive you out of your homes,
From dealing kindly and justly with them: for Allah loveth those who are just (HQ: 60: 8).

The holy verse sends away any confusion by saying that Muslims are free
To choose their friends from among all people regardless of their belief As long as those people accept living in peace with them. Live alone People of the Book.

The Messenger of Allah [Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam] said:
"I swear to Allah in Whose hand my life is, that you cannot attain heaven
And eternal happiness unless you have faith,
And you cannot have faith unless you love each other.
Should I not guide you towards some task, as a result of which,
Love and friendship will be created among you?
“They answered: "Yes, O Prophet of Allah" He added:
"So, salute each other (with peace) openly and clearly."
(Sunan Abu Dawud, vol.4, narrated by Abu Hurairah R.A...).
The Religion of Islam is the religion of fraternity and brotherhood among people.
Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) called people towards friendship and caring because they are the foundation of co-operation and happiness in this life.
One feels happy and at peace when living with one's own family or with loving friends.
That feeling and love and respect goes both ways
And one cannot forget family and friends because of one's love for them.

It is when there is no love that enmity among people is created which often leads to aggression breaking out.
If there was real love, fighting among people would not erupt nor would one steal another's property nor there such a gap between rich and poor.

Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) will not be pleased with us and we not will live in happiness unless we love each other.

Our Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) guides us towards the right path by instructing us to greet each with the salutation of peace (salaam) as the first sign of showing affection for each other.
He says: "Salute each other (with peace) openly and clearly."
He guides us in this way because such a salutation
And greetings make both love and happiness enter our souls.
Love among Muslims is a sign for their true and sincere belief,
And all Muslims are brothers and they love each other.
So, whoever dislikes his Muslim brothers and hurts them is not a true believer.
This is endorsed by the Prophet Muhammad Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) who says:
No believers will be true in their belief unless they love each other.

These holy traditions (Hadith) guide us to the knowledge that Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) will be displeased with us
And will not let us enter Paradise unless we believe
And act upon the guidance of His Prophet Muhammad Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam).

His Messenger (Prophet Muhammad Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) has spelt out:
It is obligatory for Muslims to love each other in order to be believers and thus enter Paradise.
No one will enter Paradise except the person who truly believes in Allah.
A Muslim cannot be a true believer unless he loves his other Muslim brothers.
Initially saluting each other with peace causes love
And fraternity among people and reaches their hearts.
Those who salute and greet others deserve
And gain the double reward of happiness in the life of this world and in the Hereafter.

Islam means peace and love. From whichever angle it is viewed,
It is absolute peace, pure peace and nothing.
However, there has been a lot of distortion of true Islamic teachings.
One wonders about what is the concept of peace in Islam.
What makes Islam a religion of peace?
The very name of Islam is something very unique.
It is the first time in the entire history of religions that a religion has been given a name which literally means “peace”.
The word “Islam” has two connotations; firstly,
It means submission to the will and command of
Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) and secondly,
It means peace. Furthermore, Islam is a religion which has been established by Allah Almighty.
Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) has various attributes
And one of His attributes is As-Salaam, that is, the one who bestows peace.
One who believes in Islam is called a Muslim.
The definition of a Muslim is ‘one who is entirely at peace with himself
And who promotes peace in society.’
A more beautiful definition of a Muslim has been given by the very founder of Islam,
The Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam). He is reported to have said:
“A Muslim is that person from whose hands and from whose tongue all people are safe” (Bukhari).

Qur’an 39:60 On the Day of Judgment wilt thou see those
Who told lies against Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD).-
Their faces will be turned black; is there not in Hell an abode for the Haughty?

Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) has said
"Whoever intentionally lied against me should prepare himself to sit on his seat in Hell (in the day of judgment)".

To avoid misrepresenting the Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam),
The authentic Hadith must conform to the following criteria and standards:
1. It cannot contradict the Qur’an
2. It must comport with the overall ethics and morals of
Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam)
(Who is described in the Qur’an as a "mercy for all mankind" Rahma Li Alamin?)
Qur’an 21:107 we sent thee not, but as a Mercy for all creatures.
3. It must attain to the highest level of moral standards
"Makarem Al-Akhlaq" and human conscience and dignity.
Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) said.
"I was given the revelation only to fulfill the highest levels of ethics and Morals"
Any word, statement, or deed attributed to Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) must first conform to the three aforementioned points before it can be considered authentic.

1. A man once asked Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam) regarding good morals and what they consist of.
The Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) replied to him
And said "to care even for those who boycott you,
To give to those who deprive you, and to forgive those who did evil things against you."

Thus, it is not permissible under any circumstance for Muslims to mistreat a non-Muslim
Who has not committed any aggression against them?
They are not allowed to harm, threaten or terrorize him,
Steal his wealth, cheat him or deprive him of his rights.
It is obligatory upon Muslims as well to honor whatever lawful treaties
and agreements are made with non-Muslim parties.

Coexistence does not mean that we cease to promote our positive values.
As an aspect of their kindness and concern for humanity,
Muslims are expected to invite non-Muslims o the truth of Islam with words of wisdom, Sound arguments and a pleasant manner.
This is a debt owed by Muslims to the peoples of the world in gratitude to
Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) for his guidance and countless blessings.

"It is important in this present day that the children of
Adam (Alayhi salaam) clearly understands the true meaning of Islam.
We must know the value of its purity, of its peacefulness, its unity,
Its sincerity, its honesty, and the value of its conscience and justice and truth..."

"Islam is equality, peacefulness, and unity. Islam is inner patience,
Contentment, trust in Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam),
And praise of Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam).
One who understands this and puts it into practice will be a true believer...."

"Allah has asked mankind to accept this, to find freedom, and to raise the flag of unity on the tree of love."
