Today Hearts Are Rusting Because Of the Intensity Of Sins

Fear prevents a person from sin, and today hearts are rusting because of the intensity of sins that we have committed.
This is not to say that people are not doing good deeds, because they are.
However, good deeds and sins are taking place side by side, which is counterproductive. A good deed is offering prayer in the masjid. However, when walking home our eyes are wandering and looking at forbidden things, and therefore we waste the good effects that being in the masjid had on our hearts.

Likewise, reading the Holy Quran is a good deed but then we also lie throughout the day. Many women pray Tahajjud (the night vigil) but also go out in public with their heads uncovered. Why are people engaged in both good and bad at the same time? This is because we don’t fear Allah as we should.

People will only refrain from committing all wrong when they understand the greatness and glory of Allah. Such people do exist in this world, and they know that if they commit any wrong, they will have to stand and answer very shortly. Hadrat Ibn Qayyim writes, “Do not ponder on whether the sin is big or small. Rather reflect upon the greatness of Whom you are disobeying.”

It is very ironic that parents become prepared to beat and even throw their child out of the house if the child does not obey after repeated requests. Allah is so Merciful and so Gracious that He has not once threatened to expel us from His fold despite our repeated and stubborn disobedience. Allah can also most certainly tell us to leave Him and search for another provider and sustainer. However, Allah is Merciful and Forgiving and therefore keeps giving us chances to reform.

Anas [ibn Malik] said:

One day when the Messenger of God, May God bless him and give him peace, was seated [amongst us], we saw him laugh and laugh until his teeth were showing. 'Umar asked: "What makes you laugh, O Messenger of God, you for whom I would give my own father and mother?" He replied:

Two men of my community were kneeling before the Lord of
Might, ever exalted is He, and one of them said: "O my Lord,
Retrieve for me what my brother has wrongfully taken from me!"

He said [to the accused]: "Give back to your brother what you have wrongfully taken from him."

But my Lord," he replied, "nothing of merit has been left to me."

"Then my Lord," said [the first], "let him carry some of my burden.

The eyes of the Messenger of Allah (God), May Allah (God) give him blessings and peace, filled with tears, and he said: "Indeed that is a fearful day, when people will need someone to carry part of their burden."
Then he continued:

And Allah (God), ever mighty and majestic is He, said to the plaintiff:
"Raise your head and look towards the Gardens of Paradise."

He raised his eyes and exclaimed: "My Lord, I see cities of silver and palaces of gold, crowned with pearls. To which prophet or martyr does it belong?"

Allah (God) replied: "It belongs to whoever pays Me the price."

He asked: "And who, my Lord, will own it?"

    Allah (God) replied: "You will."

He asked: "But how shall I do that, my Lord?

Allah (God) replied: "By pardoning your brother."

He said: "My Lord, I have already pardoned him!"

Allah (God), ever exalted is He, said: "Now take your brother by the hand, and lead him into Paradise."

Then the Messenger of God added:

"Fear Allah (God), and promote peace and reconciliation amongst yourselves,
For surely God shall establish peace among the faithful on the Day of Resurrection.".....Prophet (Peace be upon him).

Don't judge those who try and fail, judge those who fail to try
"Where the willingness is great, the difficulties cannot be great"
Allah is forgiving so my friend for us let this be a new day a new start with following the Sunna.
"This is the beginning of a new day. You have been given this day to use as you will.
You can waste it or use it for good. What you do today is important because you are exchanging a day of your life for it.
When tomorrow comes, this day will be gone forever; in its place is something that you have left behind...let it be something good."

And Remember
"Allah (God), ever exalted is He, said: "Now take your brother by the hand, and lead him into Paradise"

As Muslims we should aim for the highest level of being Muslims by having ihsan, which according to the Prophet (sallallaahu  ‘alayhi Wasallam)  is  “... to worship Allah as if you see Him, and if you cannot achieve this state of devotion then you must consider that He is looking at you.”  (Bukhari 1/47, 6/300 and Muslim1)  We should be Mu’hsinoon or Muttaqoon (God conscious or God-fearing Muslims). (Ah! I’ll Blog about this)
This means that we have to remember and fear Allah (Subhanahu WA Ta’aala) at all times...

"I know it seems hard sometimes, but remember one thing, through every dark night, there's a bright day after that. So no matter how hard it gets, keep your chest out, keep your head up and handle it."...
And remember when you chose not to decide you have already made a choice!

May Allah make our efforts sincere and keep us all on the straight path...........
