I seek refuge in Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD), from the Shaitan.
Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD)’s name I begin, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.
All praise be to Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD), Lord of the worlds,
Who has disposed all matters through His arrangements thereof?
Who has fairly composed His creation and given it excellent form, good structure and proportion.
And may blessings and salutation be invoked upon Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam), the bondsman of Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD),
Not believing that you have a purpose won’t prevent you from discovering it
Islam, like all religions, has answers to these questions, but unlike other religions, these answers satisfy not only the heart, and spirit but the mind as well, and this is the key to providing the pure satisfaction that the truth has finally been reached.
“Verily! We have made that which is on earth as an adornment for it, in order that we may test them (mankind) as to which of them are best in deeds. (I.e. those who do good deeds in the most perfect manner, that means to do them (deeds) totally for Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD)’s sake and in accordance to the legal ways of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) And verily!
We shall make all that is on it (the earth) a bare dry soil (without any vegetation or trees, etc.).” [Al-Quran 18:7-8]
"Why I’m I Here?" "SIMPLE ANSWER "(To worship Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD), (khallas) (finish). What more is there to say)?
Not just Muslims, but every single human being has to answer the most fundamental question at some point in his or her lifetime:
Since our creation, humans have pondered the existential mysteries of life.
The same questions have plagued us throughout the centuries, "From where did I come? Why am I here?
What is expected of me? Where do I go from Here? And is this all there is?
“Some of us spend a lifetime pursuing the answers to these questions,
Others of us seem to be content to accept the answers provided by our individual cultures and religions, and some of us even consciously decide to ignore the basic instinct to find the answers.
Muslims have a strong tradition of seeking knowledge,
And the most fundamental knowledge is the knowledge which will lead us to an answer to these questions.
Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) mentions to us in the Holy Quran: "And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and Allah is over all things competent. Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day are signs for those of understanding-Who remember Allah while standing or sitting or [lying] on their sides and give thought to the creation of the heavens and the earth, [saying], "Our Lord, You did not create this aimlessly; exalted are You [above such a thing]; then protect us from the punishment of the Fire." Surah 3: Ayahs 189-191
Once the Muslim accepts that He was created by the One True Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD), Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD), he tackles the next question, "Why am I here?”
What is the purpose for which I was created? The Quran answers that our purpose in this life is to worship Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD).
Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) has created this place as a testing ground for us, to see if we are worthy of the ultimate prize, Paradise.
But how does the sound logical mind reach this conclusion? Easy.
We look around at the circumstances of our lives.
Careful examination shows that every event in our life has a direct or indirect correlation to other events.
For instance, some event in our past prepared us to handle a crisis from today.
Life is like taking a test, so don't lose your courage when you lose just one test. (Test. I could say Exam also, but I hate exams. Test helps me to take it easy....He! He! He! ).
My experience till now has tested my inner strength and will power. It gives me a problem and I have to solve it.
Life itself is a test that you are taking all the time. Imagine that do you want to lose you life when you just lost in one test.
There are much beautiful scenery in our life that we have never seen before and many fantastic tales that we have never read before.
So, the most awful thing is not being defeated in the test.
Time flies, so we don't have much time to regret that we did a bad job in the last exam.
We need to look ahead and prepare for the rest of the exams in our life. I think you can do a good job the next time, so make a greater effort on it.
Our lives are set up like a test with interconnections that both strengthen us and prepare us for the next level.
It is obvious that we are being slowly smelted and purified so that we can cultivate the necessary strength to meet the final challenges.
Many people live their lives without ever reflecting on life itself or its meaning for them.
Their lives may be full of activities.
They may marry, have children, run a business, or become scientists or musicians, without ever obtaining any degree of understanding of why they do these things.
Their lives have no overall purpose to give meaning to separate events, and they may have no clear idea of their own nature or identity, of who they really are.
What little things we are, how weak and how wretched!
Humanity makes for such a pathetic creation.
We all are as humble people are: alone, naked, and revealed, exposed to love and to the light.
If I cannot be other than” me" them "me" is a prison: How can I be free?
How do you discover your real purpose in life?
I’m not talking about your job, your daily responsibilities, or even your long-term goals.
I mean the real reason why you’re here at all — the very reason you exist.
Perhaps you’re a rather nihilistic person who doesn’t believe you have a purpose and that life has no meaning...
Not believing that you have a purpose won’t prevent you from discovering it, just as a lack of belief in gravity won’t prevent you from tripping.
"What is the purpose of life?" and "Why are we here?" "What is the goal and purpose of life?" that we get many different answers?
It is because people are confused; they don't really know.
They are stumbling in the dark, and rather than say, "I don't know"; they just offer any answer they have been programmed to give.
Think about it. Is our purpose in this world simply to eat, sleep, dress, work, acquire some material things and enjoy ourselves?
Is this our purpose? Why are we born? What is the object of our existence?
What is the wisdom behind the creation of man and this tremendous universe? Think about those questions.
Our purpose in this life is to recognize The Creator, to be grateful to Him, to worship Him, to surrender ourselves to Him and to obey the laws that He has determined for us.
It means worship is our purpose in life.
Whatever we do in the course of that worship, [i.e. eating, sleeping, dressing, working, or enjoying,] between birth and death is consequential and subject to His orders.
But the main reason for our creation is worship. I don't think anyone who is analytical or scientific will have much of an argument with that purpose.
They may have some other reason with themselves-but that is something they have to deal with between themselves and Almighty Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD).
Anas ibn Malik (Radiyallaahu anhu) said that Allah says, "My light is guidance." Ubayy ibn Ka`b said that it refers to the believer in whose breast Allah has put belief and the Qur'an.
May Allah Ta’aala make us all from those whose deeds are done in accordance with the Sunnah, deeds that are done sincerely for the sake of Allah?
May Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) help us to do that which He loves and which pleases Him?
May Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) make our efforts sincere and keep us all on the straight path...........
