Islam Appeared As Something Strange

Before we begin any work, we should `purify' our intention-Islam

Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala, send peace and blessings upon our The Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) and his companions,

Al-Hamdu Lillaahi Rabbil 'Alamin was-Salaatul was-Salamu 'alaa Asra fil Anbiyaa wal Mursaleen.
“There is no helper but Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD),
No guide but (Prophet Muhammad Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) messenger of Allah       Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD), no provision but Taqwa.

The technical/Islamic definition of Sincerity (`Ikhlas' in Arabic) is:
"The purification & protection of one's SPEECH & ACTION, from every blemish of the soul's desire"
The Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) says: Deeds of man are mortgaged by his intention and everyone gets what he intends.
If anybody fights for the Cause of Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) his reward is with Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) and if one wages a war for worldly gain his reward remains limited only to this world.

Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that The Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) said: Islam began as something strange and will return as something strange as it began, so give glad tidings to the strangers.
(Who are the strangers)?
Islam appeared as something strange in Makkah where only a few accepted the faith while most showed enmity towards it and rejected The Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) whom they harmed along with his Sa’haba (Companions of the Prophet) who embraced Islam. Then it reached Madinah the city that those Companions who had the ability migrated to. It continued to be regarded as something strange until the number of Muslims increased in Madinah and other cities. People then embraced Islam in crowds after Allah made it possible for His Prophet (peace be upon him) to conquer Makkah. Islam was viewed as strange by people at a time when most were heathens associating others with Allah. They worshipped idols, prophets, saints, trees, stones, and the like.

Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) guided whom He pleased through His Messenger the Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) and through his Companions. Thus, they entered Islam, worshipped Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) sincerely abandoning their idols, prophets, and saints. They did not offer prayer, prostrate, or call upon anyone except Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD). They only sought assistance or cure from Him (may He be Exalted and Glorified). They did not supplicate or seek help from the dead, idols, trees, stones, planets, Jinn (creatures created from fire), or angels. Instead, they worshipped Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) (May He be Exalted and Glorified) exclusively. Such are the strangers.

Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) loves belief, obedience and goodness.  And Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD)    hates disbelief, disobedience and evil.

And whomsoever Allah wills to guide, He opens His breast to Islam, and whomsoever He wills to send astray, He makes his breast closed and constricted, as if he is climbing up to the sky. (Qur’an, 6:125)
“Carry on doing (good) deeds, for everybody will find easy to do such deeds as will lead him to his destined place for which he has been created. So, he who is destined to be among the happy (in the Hereafter), will find it easy to do the deeds characteristic of such people.”
Those who hold fast to the religion of Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD)
Towards the end of time there will be those who hold fast to the religion of Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) while others fall by the wayside. When disbelief, disobedience, and evil will increase, these strangers will remain obedient to Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) and His religion. They will be granted Paradise and Happiness with a goodly reward in this life and the Hereafter.

Before we begin any work, we should `purify' our intention to make that effort for Allah ALONE –
Hence we should question why we are doing whatever we are doing –
Is our Endeavour for some worldly gain, or is it to please Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD), the Most High?
Our task is to ensure that our works are for Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) alone, and for no other reason whatsoever.
May Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) help us to do that which He loves and which pleases Him?
And Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) knows best.
May Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) make our efforts sincere and keep us all on the straight path...........
