True repentance is repentance that brings you closer to your Lord

"Every son of Adam is a sinner, and the best of sinners are those who repent."

The Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam), said, "Every son of Adam is a sinner,
And the best of sinners are those who repent."
“Thus Adam disobeyed his Lord, and so he went astray.
Then his Lord chose him, and accepted his repentance, and gave him guidance.”  (20:121-122)
A servant [of Allah’s] committed a sin and said: O Allah, forgive me my sin. And He (glorified and exalted be He) said:
My servant has committed a sin and has known that he has a Lord who forgives sins and punishes for them.
Then he sinned again and said: O Lord, forgive me my sin. And He (glorified and exalted be He) said:
My servant has committed a sin and has known that he has a Lord who forgives sins and punishes for them.
Then he sinned again and said: O Lord, forgive me my sin. And He (glorified and exalted be He) said:
My servant has committed a sin and has known that he has a Lord who forgives sins and punishes for sins.
Do what you wish, for I have forgiven you. [Hadith Qudsi]
O son of Adam, so long as you call upon Me and ask of Me, I shall forgive you for what you have done,
And I shall not mind. O son of Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky and were you then to ask forgiveness of Me,
I would forgive you. O son of Adam, were you to come to Me with sins nearly as great as the earth and were you then to face Me,
Ascribing no partner to Me, I would bring you forgiveness nearly as great at it. [Hadith Qudsi]

Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) says: “Say: O my Servants who have transgressed against their souls!
Despair not of the Mercy of Allah: for Allah forgives all sins: For He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” [Surah al-Zumar: 53]
This verse speaks about those who repent. It tells us that any sin, no matter how major, is expiated by sincere and proper repentance.
Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) Most High created us and He knows our natures.
He knows that we are weak and prone to error and sin.
He knows that we are faced with temptations everyday of our lives.
Yet, He is the Most Merciful and the Most Clement.

Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) gives us countless opportunities to repent.
We must avail ourselves before it is too late.
Alhamdulillah, you're fully aware of this fact.
So why not do something good for your heart and your soul and turn to Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) in true repentance?
None of us knows when we will be called back to our Creator.
So don't let another minute pass.
According to a saying of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam),
"Take advantage of five things before five others occurs.
     Your youth before you grow old;
Your health before you become sick,
Your wealth before you become poor,
Your leisure before you become busy,
And your life before you die."
A lot of people put off repentance until they are very old or very sick.
But no time is better than the PRESENT.
True repentance is repentance that brings you closer to your Lord and further from the sin.
True repentance means that you sincerely and diligently take the means to move away from this sin.
You get to the point where even the idea of committing this sin is loathsome. That's what you should strive for.
According to the scholars, the conditions of repentance are three:
1. Leaving the sin;
2. Feeling remorse for it;
3. And resolving to never do it again.
Scholars also say that if the sin involves the company of a certain person or persons,
Then it is best to part ways with them, at least until they rectify their behavior.
These are the conditions for repentance to be sincere and proper.
The first of these is that the penitent person desists from the sinful act.
The second is that he feels deep and genuine regret for having committed the sin.
The third is that he resolves in his heart never to return to the sin again.
Finally, if the sin caused a transgression against the rights of another person, he needs to do his best to make amends.
When Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) sees this sincere repentance from one of His servants –
A servant who truly turns to his Lord in fear and hope –
He not only forgives the sin, but replaces those sins for good deeds to the servant’s credit.
This is from Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD)’s infinite grace and munificence.
Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) says: “Unless he repents, believes, and works righteous deeds,
For Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) will change the evil of such persons into good,
And Almighty ALLAH is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful,” [Surah al-Furqân: 70]
Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) says this right after mentioning the sins of polytheism, murder, and adultery.
However, this blessing is only for one who has faith, whose repentance is sincere, and who strives to work righteous deeds.
Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD)’s generosity is so far-reaching,
That we are not only forgiven through our specific repentance for each sin that we commit,
But we can attain forgiveness simply through our constant appeals Allah to forgive us.
Another way that we attain Allah’s forgiveness is through the performance of good deeds.
Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) says:
“Establish worship at the two ends of the day and in some watches of the night. Lo! Good deeds annul evil deeds.
This is reminder for the mindful.” [Surah HUD: 114]
Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) says “If you shun the most heinous sins which you are forbidden,
We will do away with your small sins and admit you to a gate of great honor.” [Surah al-Nisa’: 31]

Hadith related by `Othman RadiAllahu Anhu that the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam), said:
“Any Muslim who offers the prescribed prayer, doing justice to its motions and to the humility that it requires,
It will expiate for the sins that preceded it, as long as the person did not commit a major sin.” [Sahih Muslim]
Number of other scholars consider the verse “Good deeds annul evil deeds” to be general in meaning.
It applies to all sins, major and minor. Even if a person’s good deeds do not expiate for the sin directly,
There can be no doubt that those good deeds weigh in the balance of deeds on the Day of Judgment in a person’s favor.
Whoever has his good days outweigh his evil deeds on that Day will attain salvation.

Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) says: “The balance that day will be true: those whose scale (of good) will be heavy will prosper,
And as for those whose measure (of good deeds) is light, their souls will be in perdition, for that they wrongfully treated our signs.” [Surah al-Araf: 8-9]
Ibn Masud RadiAllahu Anhu said: “People will be taken into account on the Day of Judgment.
Whoever has a single sin to his account more than his good deeds will enter the Fire.
Whoever has a single good deed to his account greater than his sinful deeds will enter Paradise.”
Then Ibn Masud recited Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD)’s words: “…those, whose scale (of good) will be heavy, will prosper”.
Then he said: “Indeed, the balance will weigh an atom’s weight one way or another.”
Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) also forgives us our sins through the difficulties that we face in life.
When we are stricken with illness or suffer from circumstances,
We will earn forgiveness if we bear them patiently seeking Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD)’s reward.
Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) forgives our sins on account of the supplications
Those others make to Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) asking for our forgiveness, including our funeral prayers.
We earn forgiveness through the charity we gave in our lives that continue to provide benefit to others after our deaths.
We earn forgiveness if we have pious children who beseech Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) on our behalf.
A Muslim’s sins are likewise forgiven through the punishment he may receive in the grave.
Those sins are also forgiven by the intercession that the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam), will make on that day, and then by the intercession those who are granted intercession.
The Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam), said: “My intercession is for those who committed major sins from among my followers.”

Above and beyond all of this is the mercy of the Most-Merciful Lord who pardons on that Day all sins as He pleases,
As long as the person meets Him worshipping Him alone without ascribing to Him any partner.
 Abu Bakr RadiAllahu `Anhu reported:
"I heard the Prophet Sallallaahu `alayhi wasallam saying: 'Allah forgives the man who commits a sin (then feels ashamed),
Purifies himself, offers a prayer and seeks His forgiveness.'
Then he recited the 'ayah: 'And those who, when they do an evil thing or wrong themselves, remember Allah
And implore forgiveness for their sins - and who can forgive sins except Allah? - And will not knowingly repeat (the wrong) they did.
The reward of such will be forgiveness from their Lord, and gardens underneath which rivers flow, Wherein they will abide forever- a bountiful reward for workers."' [Al-’lmrân: 135-136]. [Abu Dawud-, an-Nisa’i, Ibn Majah, at-Tirmidhi].
    As Ibn al-Qayim said:,
“Surely, a servant commits a sin by which he enters Paradise.
And another servant does a good deed by which he enters the Fire.”
So the people around him were shocked!
They knew that good deeds bring one to Paradise, while sins bring one to the Fire.
     So they said to him:
”How is this? How can that be?”
So then he explained the situation of both.
He said:
“The one who committed the sin, constantly thought about it, which caused him to fear it, regret it, weep and cry over it,
And feel ashamed in front of his Lord because of it.
He stood before Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD), broken-hearted,
With his head lowered in humility.
So this sin was more beneficial to him than many acts of obedience, since it caused him humility & humbleness, To the extent that this sin became the cause for him entering Paradise.
And as for the doer of good,
He didn’t consider that good to be a favor from his Lord. Rather, he became amazed with himself.
This increased his arrogance & pride, which lead him to destruction in Hell.”
Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD), Most High gives us countless opportunities to repent.
We must avail ourselves before it is TOO LATE.
Alhamdulillah, you're fully aware of this fact.
So why not do something good for your heart and your soul and turn to Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD), in true repentance?
None of us knows when we will be called back to our Creator.
So don't let another minute pass.

"And hold fast unto Allah, He is your protector, the best to protect and the best to help"(Qur’an 22:78)
"Not only Repentance bring forgiveness from Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD),
But one should erase his bad deeds by doing the good ones"....Holy Qur’an 25:70
Those who invoke not, with Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD),,
Any other god, nor slay such life as Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD),
Has made sacred except for just cause,
Nor commit fornication; - and any that does this (not only) meets punishment.
Multiplied for him is the punishment on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein humiliated
Unless he (1) repents, (2) believes, and (3) works righteous deeds,
For Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD), will change the sins of such persons into good, and Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful,
 1-Repent.
   Then
2-Believe.
  Then
3-work righteous deeds.
  Hence
4- Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD), will substitute your bad record with a good one....
The same thing in another verse: Holy Qur’an 11:114:- "And establish regular prayers at the two ends of the day and at the approaches of the night:
For those things, that is good removing those that are evil: Be that the word of remembrance to those who remember (their Lord):

I  PRAY to Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) to make
YOU and me from those who continually do Tawba to Him,
And have humility, for that is the key to success in this world & the next.
It is indeed hard except for those who are humble.
Who bear in mind it is to Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) they belong
And to Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) one day they must return.
The moral perspective is the core of things.
Tawba starts from within. No regrets = arrogance. No gimmicks = Know my sins.
Then regret and stop them to the end. Oh Allah please Help us repent. A’udhu Billaahi, Astagafirullah.

Almighty Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) has All Knowledge.
Any good is from Almighty Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) & the mistakes were from me.
Please pray for me and ask Almighty Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) to forgive me.
May Almighty Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) guide all of us to His Truth?
May Allah Subhanahu wata`aalaa grant us what is best in this world and the next!
Action speaks louder then words my friend’s practice Islam the way of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) did.
May Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) help us to do that which He loves and which pleases Him?
May Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) make our efforts sincere and keep us all on the straight path...........
Feel free to Share the information here with everyone you know,
             And earn Sawab-e-Jariya... (Sadqah Jariya)
May Almighty Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala make it a source of Sawab-e-Jariya for YOU and me     .Ameen?
...... P.S.: "Have fun praying don’t forget to make Dua for me"...

I Love You For The Sake of Allah

Love someone for the sake of Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala
All thanks and praise is due to Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD), whom we seek His help and forgiveness.
We seek refuge in Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) from whatever evil our hearts conceal and from the consequences of our evil deeds.
Whoever Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) grants guidance will never be led astray.
Whoever He leads astray will never find guidance.
I attest that none is worthy of worship except Allah, who has no partners, and that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.

Do it only for the pleasure of Almighty Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD). (And not for earthly desires).
To have love for someone for the sake of Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD)'s pleasure is also a grand act
For which much merit and many rewards have been promised.
"To love for the sake of Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD)" means loving someone, not for worldly gain,
But because he is more religious and pious or he is very learned in din or is busy in serving the cause of din
Or because loving him or her is commanded by Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD),
I.e.:- One’s parents. Such a love has been called "love for Allah" in Ahadith.
A Hadith tells us that "On the Day of Judgment, those who had mutual love for the sake of Allah's Greatness shall be on pulpits of light
And all shall envy them." (Jami' Tirmidhi, Kitaab al Zuhd)
Love holds all of us together:
Imam Ahmad reported from the Hadith of Al Bara' ibn `Azib (RadiAllahu Anhu) who narrated:
"We were sitting at the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) then he said: Which is the strongest bond of Islam?
The Companions said: Salah. He said: It is good but not the correct answer.
They said: The fast of Ramadan. He said: Good, but not the correct answer.
They said: Jihad. He said: Good, but not the correct answer.
He the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) then said:
The strongest bond of faith is to love for the sake of Allah and hate for the sake of Allah."
Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) said:
"If any of you loves his brother then he should inform him" (Tirmidhi,
Love is among the most exalted of human feelings.
When this love revolves around Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) and forms the basis for our interpersonal relationships,
Many problems can be weathered and great fruits can be harvested for both the individual and society as a whole.
The Qur’an and Sunnah often speak about the noble status of those whom Allah graces to possess such love.
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, Among Allah’s servants are people who are neither prophets nor martyrs,
But whom the prophets and martyrs will deem fortunate because of their high status with Allah.” The Companions asked,
“O Messenger of Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD)! Inform us of who they are.”
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) told them that they are people, who loved each other for Allah’s sake,
Even without being related to one another or being tied to one another by the exchange of wealth.
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) went on to describe their great reward on the Day of Resurrection:
By Allah, their faces will be luminous and they will be upon light.
They will feel no fear when the people will be feeling fear, and they will feel no grief when the people will be grieving.
” Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) read the verse:
Behold! Verily on the friends of Allah there is no fear, nor shall they grieve] (Younus 10:62). (Abu Dawud)

Brothers have many rights which Imam Ash-Shafi (may Allah be pleased with him) summarized by saying:
One of the signs of true brotherhood is to accept the defects of your Muslim brother, correct him, and forgive his mistakes.
It was said that the best among your companions is the one who supports you when everyone forsakes you,
Many people may forgive those who do not share his joys, but few are those who forgive the people who do not share their sorrows
My friend I say this....Let not your tongue mention the shame of another
For you your self are covered in shame and all men have tongues.
If your eye falls upon the sins of your brother
Shield them and say: "O my eye! All men have eyes!"

The Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) said: “Do not abuse anyone…
Do not look down upon any good work, and when you speak to your brother, show him a cheerful face.” - Sunan of Abu-Dawood, Hadith 4073
Whoever does not consider his speech to be part of his actions will sin abundantly,
And whoever acts without knowledge will do more harm than good.

Abu Hurairah (RadiAllahu Anhu), who said that the Messenger of Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD),
Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) said: "Allah will say on the Day of Resurrection:
'Where are those who love one another through My glory?
Today I shall give them shade in My shade, it being a day when there is no shade but My shade.'" [Bukhari and Malik).]
Ibn Abbas (May Allah be pleased with him) said:
“Whoever loves for the sake of Allah, and hates for the sake of Allah,
And befriends for the sake of Allah and shows enmity for the sake of Allah, would get Allah’s friendship.
Without abiding by this, no one can get the real taste (sweetness) of Iman (Belief) though he may have been a frequent offerer of prayer and fasts.
Today people keep relationship, and love only for some worldly reason but this will not provide them any benefit (on the Day of Judgment).” [Ibn Jarir (May Allah be pleased with him) mentioned this Hadith.

He who loves for the sake of Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) is beloved of Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD),
And he who is loved for the sake of Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) is also beloved of Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD),
Since each loves the other for the sake of Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD).
The Messenger of Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) said, 'Man is with whom he loves. Whoever loves a bondsman in Allah, loves Allah.
No one loves Allah except he whom Allah loves.' And again,
'The best of people after the prophets in this world and the next are those who love each other for Allah.'
Every love based on some cause other than Allah brings about enmity except for these two, for they come from the same source.
Theirs always increases and never decreases.
As Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) said,
The friends shall on that day be enemies to one another except for those who guard against evil, (43:67)
Because the root of love is being free of everything except the Beloved.
The best thing in the Garden and the sweetest is love of Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD),
Love in Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD),
And praise for Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD).'
And Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) said:,
The last of their supplication shall be "Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds", (10:10)
Because when they see the blessings that exist in the Garden, love is aroused in their hearts and then they call out, 'Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds.'

Abu Idrees Khulani, one of the most famous tabi'in says that once he visited Mu`adh ibn Jabal in the mosque of Damascus and told him that
"By Allah I love you for the sake of Allah." He repeatedly asked me to swear if it was so and when I answered in affirmative every time,
He pulled me by my shawl and said, "Hear the good news! I have heard the exalted and blessed Messenger of Allah saying that
"My love shall certainly be for those who love each other for my sake, who sit in each other's company for my sake,
Who go to meet each other for my sake and spend money on each other for my sake?" (Muwatta Imam Malik, Kitab-al-Shi'r)

Having love for Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD)'s pious
And good bondsmen is actually an outcome of one's love for Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD)
So it earns the same rewards and merits as the latter; because of this love.
Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) includes this lover in His beloved people.
According to a Hadith, someone asked our blessed and exalted Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam),
"When shall come the Day of Judgment?" Our Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) asked him
"What preparation have you made for the Day?
“The man said, "Nothing, but I have love for Allah and for His Messenger."
The Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) said, "You shall be (on that Day) with whom you love."
The above Hadith has been quoted by Anas R.A. . . .
He says that these words of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam so pleased us as nothing had ever done.
He further said, "I have great love for the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) - may he be eternally blessed -
And with Abu Bakr and Umar, may Allah be pleased with them, and because of this love,
I shall be in their company, even though my deeds are not equal to theirs." (Sahih Bukhari:, Kitaab-al-Adab, chapter Allamah al Hub fi Allah).
There are many Ahadith of the same import showing that having love for someone for the sake of Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) is an act of great merit, which grants one the opportunity of doing good in this world and being in exalted company in the Hereafter
Hence, one should love good people for the sake of Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD)
And with the intent of becoming good oneself and earning Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD)'s pleasure,
As a poet once said, "I love good people and although I am not one of them, may Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) grant me goodness too."
Hadith tells us that when someone loves his brother in faith, he must tell him of his love (Abu Dawud; Kitaab-al-Adab; Tirmidhi; Kitaab-al-Zuhd).

A man was sitting with our Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) when another one passed. The sitting one said,
"O Messenger of Allah! I love this man." The Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) said, "Have you told him?" The man said, "No."
The Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) said, "Tell him!" The man rose to his feet and went to the man who was passing by and said,
"I love you for the sake of Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD)." He said, "May Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) whom you love, love you in return!"
The two who love one another for the sake of Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD)
Are clearly shown to be among those whom Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) will shelter with His shade and upon whom
He will shower His mercy and kindness. What a great honor!
It is enough honor for those who love one another for the sake of  Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) will greet them on the
Day of Resurrection and say to them: "Where are those who loved one another for my glory?
Today I will shade them in My shade on the Day when there is no shade but Mine." (Muslim)
Such is the magnificent honor and tremendous reward that will be bestowed upon those
Who truly loved one another for the sake of Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD), on that awesome Day?
Love for the sake of Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD),
And not for the sake of anything else in this life which is filled with greed, desires and interests, is very difficult,
And none can attain it except the one who is pure of heart, for whom this world is as nothing compared to the pleasure of Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’aala).
It is not surprising that Allah (Subhanahu WA Ta’aala) should give them a status and blessing which is commensurate with their position in this world,
Above whose concerns they have risen.
We find proof of this in the Hadith of Muadh who said that the Prophet (Sallallaahu `alayhi wasallam) said:
"Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’aala) said: 'Those who love one another for My glory, will have minbars of light,
And the Prophets and martyrs will wish that they had the same."  [Reported by al-Tirmidhi,]
Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) gives to those who love one another for His sake a gift which is even greater than this status
and blessing: that is His precious love which is very difficult to attain.
This is proven by the Hadith of Abu Hurairah (RadiAllahu `anhu) in which the Prophet (Sallallaahu `alayhi wasallam) said:
"A man went to visit a brother of his in another village.  Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) sent an angel to wait for him on the road.
When the man came along, the angel asked him, 'Where do you intend to go?'
He said, 'I am going to visit a brother of mine who lives in this village.' The angel asked,
'Have you done him any favour (for which you are now seeking repayment)?'
He said, 'No. I just love him for the sake of Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD).'
The angel told him, I am a messenger to you from Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD),
Sent to tell you that He loves you as you love your brother for His sake."' (Muslim)
What a great love, that raises a man to a position where Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) loves him and is pleased with him!
The teaching of the Prophet (Sallallaahu `alayhi wasallam) goes even further and states that the better of two brothers
Who love one another for the sake of Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) is the one who loves his brother more.
The Prophet (Sallallaahu `alayhi wasallam) said: “No two men love one another,
But the better of them is the one whose love for his brother is greater." [Reported by Bukhari in al-Adab al-Mufrad]

Islam goes even further in spreading love in the rightly guided Muslim society by telling the Muslim that if he loves his brother, he should tell him.
The Prophet (Sallallaahu `alayhi wasallam) said:
"If a man loves his brother, let him tell him that he loves him." [Reported by Abu Dawud and al-Tirmidhi, who said it is a Sahih Hadith]
The Prophet (Sallallaahu `alayhi wasallam) understood the impact of this strong, pure love in building societies and nations,
So he never let any occasion pass without advocating this love and commanding the Muslims to announce their love for one another,
in order to open hearts and spread love and purity among the ranks of the Ummah.
Anas (RadiAllahu `anhu) said that a man was with the Prophet (Sallallaahu `alayhi wasallam), when another man passed by.
The first man said, "O Messenger of Allah, indeed I truly love this man." The Prophet (Sallallaahu `alayhi wasallam) asked him,
"Have you let him know that?" He said, "No." The Prophet (Sallallaahu `alayhi wasallam) said, "Tell him." He caught up with him and told him,
"Truly I love you for the sake of Allah (Subhanahu WA Ta’aala)," and the man said,
"May Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’aala) love you who love me for His sake?" [Reported by Abu Dawud, with a Sahih isnad]

Muadh began to spread this pure love among the Muslims throughout the Muslim lands,
Telling them what he had heard from the Prophet (Sallallaahu `alayhi wasallam) about the great reward
That Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) had prepared for those who loved one another for His sake, And about His great love for them. In al-Muwatta', Imam Malik gives a report with a Sahih isnad from Abu Idrees al-Khulani who said:
"I entered the mosque of Damascus, where I saw a young man who had a bright smile, and I saw the people gathered around him.
When they disagreed on some matter, they referred it to him, and accepted his opinion.
I asked who he was, and they told me, 'This is Muadh ibn Jabal (RadiAllahu `anhu)." Early the next day,
I went to the mosque but I found that he had arrived even earlier than I.
He was praying, so I waited until he had finished, then I approached him from in front, greeted him and said,
'By Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’aala) I love you.' He said, 'For the sake of Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’aala)?'
I said, 'For the sake of Allah'. He repeated his question, 'For the sake of Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’aala)?'
 And I said,
“'For the sake of Allah”.'  So he took hold of my collar and pulled me towards him and said, 'I have good news for you.
I heard the Prophet (Sallallaahu `alayhi wasallam) say:  "Allah Almighty says:
'My love is granted to those who love one another for My sake, who visit one another for My sake, and who spend on one another for My sake.'"'

Seven types of people who will enjoy Allah’s shade
This reminds us of another famous Hadith that enumerates the seven types of people who will enjoy Allah’s shade on a day when there is no shade But His.
Among those mentioned are
“Two men who love each other for the sake of Allah”.
Meeting for that reason, and parting with this love (still cherished by both of them” (Al-Bukhari and Muslim).
Love for Allah’s sake transcends the limits of our worldly existence, enduring into the life to come.
Allah says, Close friends on that Day will be foes to one another—except for the righteous (Zukhruf 43:6]
Loving one another for the sake of Allah, and brotherhood in faith, are among the most excellent acts of worship.
This sublime love entails some conditions and duties that must be fulfilled so that the relationship remains pure And free of base undercurrents.
Upholding these duties brings a servant nearer to Allah and to His pleasure and, over time, it can bring about a greater nobility of person.

These duties include the following:
Both parties must truly love to extend support and assistance to each other and must love good for one another.
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “None of you will attain (perfect) faith until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself”(Al-Bukhari and Muslim).
They must enjoin each another to truth and patience, and give each other sincere advice.
They must enjoin what is right, forbid what is wrong, and guide each other.
They must help one another in carrying out works of righteousness.
Allah Almighty says, surely, the human being is at loss.
Except for those who have faith
And do righteous deeds and exhort one another to truth and exhort one another to patience.] (Al-`Asr 103:2-3)

The believing men and women are protecting friends of one another.
They enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong.(At-Tawba 9:71)

They must engage in the things that cultivate this love, strengthen interpersonal relationships, and facilitate the fulfilling of their duties to one another.
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “A Muslim has six rights over another Muslim.” They asked,
“What are they, Messenger of Allah?” He said, “When you meet him, greet him with salaam (Muslim's salutation meaning ‘peace’) when he invites you,
Accept his invitation; when he seeks your advice, advise him; when he sneezes and then praises Allah,
Invoke Allah’s mercy upon him; when he falls ill, visit him; when he dies, follow his funeral” (Muslim).
A Muslim has the right to kind treatment from his fellow Muslim.
He should be greeted with a smile and given a pleasant reception.
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said,
“Do not view any good act as insignificant, even the act of meeting your brother with a cheerful face” (Muslim).

They must guide each other to what is good, and help each other in acts of obedience.
Likewise, they must prevent and discourage one another from falling into sin and iniquity.
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said,
“One should help his brother, whether he is an oppressor or the one being oppressed. If he is an oppressor, forbid him from his oppression.
If he is being oppressed, then come to his aid”(Muslim).

The love between them shines in a most wonderful and genuine manner when the two are away from each other
And each of them is in secret prayers to Allah for the other. This continues for the living one even after the other has departed from the earth.
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "A Muslim’s supplication for his brother in secret is answered.
At his head an angel is appointed, and whenever he supplicates for his brother with something good, the angel appointed to him says,
 Ameen and likewise for you’”(Muslim).
They must excuse each other’s mistakes and defend each other’s honor, never speaking ill of, or deriding each other.
They should keep each other’s secrets, advise each other sincerely, and never abuse each other.
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “It is not permissible for one Muslim to distress another” (Abu Dawud).

May Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala instill in us the love for one another which is purely for HIS sake Ameen?
“Love for the sake of Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD)
” Although we’ve heard the phrase many times have we ever stopped to think what it truly means?
Abu Hurairah reported that the Messenger of Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD), (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam), said,
“Allah Almighty will say on the Day of Rising, ‘Where are those who loved one another for the sake of My majesty?
Today, on the day when there is no shade but My shade, I will shade them.’” [Muslim]
The merit of the action is clear from the Hadith but how do we go about loving someone purely for the sake of Allah?
There are a many reasons why we would love someone; most of the time for some personal gain.
When we love for the sake of Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD)  we love without expectation; we love simply because Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) decreed us to love.
A love revolving around Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) forms and reaffirms the strongest of bonds and creates and builds the strongest of characters.

In order to love others for the sake of Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD)
We must first love Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) and his messenger above all else.
Loving for the sake of Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) is the truest expression of Iman because it reflects the totality of submission to Allah’s decrees.
Love becomes an act of worship.
It generates a compassion within that compels you to help others purely to gain the pleasure of Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD).
Any act of charity strengthens that compassion. Islamic character is strengthened through this unselfish love.
The poor, the sick, the oppressed are all reminders of the person you want to be because those in need present you with the opportunity to take action in order to develop into that person. Loving for the sake of Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) reminds you of the ultimate goal.

If every single one of us loved one another for the sake of Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) where would we as an Ummah be?
If the desire to obtain the blessing of Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) through love was everyone’s goal the world would be different.
The poor and needy wouldn’t be shunned. The helpless and oppressed wouldn’t be ignored.
To love for the sake of Almighty ALLAH Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) is to love for your brother
What you would for yourself and to stand against anything less.
The plight of those in need would grab hold of your heart as it would if you truly began to see them as brothers and sisters.
Although we may not know each other and we may be separated by distance, we are all connected and united under the most important
And eternal banner of Allah the All Mighty.

The Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) said:
“There are seven whom Allah will shade in His Shade on the Day when there is no shade except His Shade: a just ruler;
A youth who grew up in the worship of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic;
A man whose heart is attached to the mosques; two men, who love each other for Allah’s sake,
Meeting for that and parting upon that; a man who is called by a woman of beauty and position [for illegal intercourse],
But be says: ‘I fear Allah’, a man who gives in charity and hides it, such that his left hand does not know
What his right hand gives in charity; and a man who remembered Allah in private and so his eyes shed tears.” (Bukhari & Muslim)

So compete with one another in good deeds.
Whosesoever you may be, Allah will bring you all together.
Indeed Allah is Able to do all things.
[2:148]

"With good manners you understand the knowledge. With the knowledge, your actions are corrected.
With actions, wisdom is obtained. With wisdom you understand zuhd (abstinence) and are granted its benefits.
With zuhd comes abandoning the world.
With abandoning the world comes desire for the Hereafter.
With desire for the Hereafter the pleasure of Allah – the Mighty and Majestic – is obtained."
Abu Hurairah (RA) narrates: Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) said: A person set out to visit his (Muslim) brother in another village
And Allah sent an angel to wait for him on his way. (When this man reached the angel) the angel asked: Where are you heading?
He replied: I am heading for a brother of mine in this village.
The angel asked: Does he owe you something, which you want to get back? The man replied: No.
I just love him for the sake of Allah. The angel said: I am Allah's courier (informer) to you,
To inform you that Allah loves you just as you love him for His sake. [Sahih Muslim]
Now how nice that is to be loved by Almighty Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD.
If you can’t conquer yourself (your nafs) you can’t conquer anything.
My friend Deeds without sincerity are like adding dirt to water then carrying it. It weighs it down and does not benefit the carrier!”

“Do not hate one another”.
The Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) forbade us from hating one another and ordered us to avoid it.
We must be aware of hatred. We must cut the source of hatred.
And we must remove the bad effects of hatred.
In fact, The Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) ordered us to do the opposite, and love one another.
And he orders us to do all the things that will lead to loving each other.
The Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) affirms that loving one another will be our way to Paradise.
In the following Hadith, The Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) says,
“By Him in Whose Hand my soul is! You should by no means enter Paradise until you believe,
And you shall by no means believe until you love one another.
May I inform you of something, if you do, love among you will be promoted?
Give greeting amongst you (i.e., by saying, Assalaamu Alaikum to one another).”

I want to say this to you: Ana uhebbuka fe Allah (I love for the sake of Allah )
WA asaalu Alayha an yuwaffequka fe al dunya wa al akherah
(I pray that Allah may grant you success in this life and the life after).

If you truly love Him, then He already knows it and He will deal with each of us according to our hearts.
