Necessary Conditions for the Righteous Deeds to be Accepted
I Seek refuge in Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD), from the Shaitan.
Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD)’s name I begin, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.
All praise be to Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD), Lord of the worlds,
Who has disposed all matters through His arrangements thereof?
Who has fairly composed His creation and given it excellent form, good structure and proportion.
And may blessings and salutation be invoked upon Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam), the bondsman of Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD),
May Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) make us all from those whose deeds are done in accordance with the Sunnah, deeds that are done sincerely for the sake of Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD)?
The Prophet (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) said: “Abu Dharr R.A., with the passing of days and nights, your age decreases and your deeds are recorded.
Death comes suddenly. One who sows good will soon harvest good, and one who sows evil will soon harvest regret.
In fact, each sower will gain that which he sows.”
Righteous deeds" (amelunsalihan):
The righteous deeds (amelunsalihan) include every thing that Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) loves and accepts from sayings and the physical acts;
The hidden (acts by heart) and the openly (acts by limbs).man’s whims prompt him, in nature, towards gaining earnings and tangible pleasures as well as the affairs that preclude him from acting righteous deeds and readying for the life to come,
Many texts from the Quran and hadith have enjoined him to arrange for his life to come:
“Whoever has done an atom's weight of good, will see it and whoever has done an atom's weight of evil, will also see it (99-8).”
“All righteous-doers among the believing male or female will be granted a blessed happy life and will receive their due reward and more. (16:97)”
“Whoever commits evil deeds will be recompensed to the same degree.
The righteously striving believer, male or female, will enter Paradise wherein they will receive their sustenance without any account being kept (40:40).”
“One who acts righteously does so for his /she own benefit and one who commits evil does so against his/her own soul.
To your Lord you will all return (45:15).”
"Love for Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) and His messenger (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam)”
The acts by heart include the love for Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) and His messenger,
Fear of Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD),
Asking Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) for forgiveness,
Having sincerity to Him alone in deen,
Being patient, (May Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) give us the courage to be patient, indeed is the best of deeds but also very difficult).
Thanking Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) for His blessings,
Accepting Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) His judgment,
Depending on Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD),
Hoping for Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD)'s mercy,
Fear of Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD)'s punishment,
And all things of this nature are the righteousness."
The acts by limbs include saying "La Illaha Illallaah Muhammadan Rasulullah",
, prayers, Zakat, fasting, hajj,
Following the Sunnah
Lots of Durood, salawat sent to Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) and Istighfar and continuing to remain hopeful and continue to make Halaal earnings,
Eat Halaal and work Halaal as well as fulfill all the rights of Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) and then do dua.
InshaAllah Allah SWT always answers your dua in a way that is best for you!
Straight talk,
Loyalty (returning someone’s possessions to them),
Kindness with parents, having good accord with relatives,
Keeping promises and treaties, enjoining what is good and forbidding what is evil,
Jihad in the cause of Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD),
Learning, teaching Islam to others
Kindness with the neighbor,
With the orphan,
With the poor,
With the wayfarer,
With the animals,
Supplication,
Remembering Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) and reciting Qur’an."
What are the necessary conditions for the righteous deeds to be accepted?
Every righteous deed must meet two conditions to be accepted by Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD):
1. The first is sincerity. This is achieved when the righteous is for the sake of Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) alone.
2. The second is following The Prophet (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam).
This is achieved when the righteous deeds are done exactly as prescribed by The Prophet (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam).
If these two conditions are met, the righteous deed will be accepted by Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD).
In this case, the doer of righteous deeds will deserve the reward in this life and in the Hereafter as promised by Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD).
"Each person's every joint must perform a charity -
On the authority of Abu Hurairah, who said: The messenger of Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) said?
"Each person's every joint must perform a charity every day the sun comes up:
To act justly between two people is a charity;
To help a man with his mount, lifting him onto it or hoisting up his belongings onto it is a charity:
A good word is a charity,
Every step you take to prayers is a charity
And removing a harmful thing from the road is a charity."... (Related by: - Bukhari and Muslim).
Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) said in Surat An-Nahl, (Verse 97), what can be translated as,
"Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer, verily?
To him We will give a good life (in this world) with respect, and We shall pay them certainly a reward in proportion to the best of what they used to do."
Ibn Kathir says: "In this great verse, there is a promise from Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) –
And He does not break his promise - for everyone, man or woman, who does a good deed and whose heart believes in Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) and His Messenger.
Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) promises to give good life for such a person in this life as a quick reward for the righteous deed.
Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) also promises to give more rewards to this person in the Hereafter.
The good life in this life as promised by Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) comprises all aspects of comfort including Halaal Rizq, self-satisfaction, Happiness and contentment.
The Prophet (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) says: "He Who submitted himself to Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD),
And is provided enough sustenance, and Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) made him content with what He gave him, he indeed succeeded." {Imams Ahmad}.
The Prophet (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) said:
“Allah does not deal unjustly with a believer about a good deed because he is given blessings for it in the Hereafter;
But the disbeliever is given in the world the reward for good deeds, he has performed and when he comes to the Hereafter,
There is no good deed for which he can be rewarded." {Imam Muslim}.
What do you have for me, today?'
“When a servant is on his last day in this world and first step to the life to come,
His wealth, sons, and deeds are presented before him.
As he turns to his wealth, he says, ‘I was very stingy and niggardly for you,
What do you have for me, today?'
His wealth will answer, 'Well, you can take from me only your coffin.'
He then turns to his sons and says, 'I have loved you very much,
And I have protected you so excessively,
What do you have for me, today?’
His sons will answer, ‘Well, we will see you off to your grave to bury you there.
’ He then turns to his deeds and says, ‘By Allah, I have neglected you and you were so unwelcome for me, what do you have for me, today?’
His deed will answer, ‘Well, I am your companion in your grave and on the day of your resurrection until you, as well as I, will be stopped before your Lord (for interrogation).’
If that servant has acted righteously in this world and has been one of the disciples of Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD),
His deed will come to him in the form of a sweet-smelling handsome man and will say to him,
‘I bear to you the good tidings of enjoying rest, happiness, and the beautiful Paradise,
And you are coming to the best abode. When that servant asks about his personality, his good deed will answer,
‘I am your righteous deed, and I will move you from this world to the world to come.’”
One thing which might be useful in achieving heart's presence is -remembrance of death.
If a person thinks about death, and pays attention to the fact that neither timings nor the circumstances of death’s arrival are known,
it may occur at any time any place, under any situation, even it is quite possible that this prayer might be the last one.
In that case he would not offer prayer with negligence.
It is recommended that a prayer offerer should think about death before the prayer;
Should imagine that the moment of death has arrived;
The death angel Israel for receiving the soul has already arrived,
And it is only a limited time; say, an hour or few minutes have been left for him,
After which his deeds' register will be closed forever, and he will be transferred to Eternal World.
Over there, his deeds will be scrutinized and the result would be both eternal prosperity and happy living near Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD)’s favorites or adversity, Cruelty, punishment, and torture inside the Hell.
By imagining and picturing dying one may better concentrate, may witness himself standing in front of Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD)-Almighty,
And thus may offer prayer with more humility and humbleness as his farewell prayer.
Before beginning prayer create such conditions for yourself and then prolong it during entire length of prayer.
“As soon as a dead is put in his grave, a person comes to him and says,
‘We were three; one was your sustenance who ceased when your age was ceased.
The other was your family who left you.
The third was I; your deed, and I will stay with you. Nevertheless, I was the most disrespectful in your sight.”
The Prophet (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) has said:
“Worship Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD)-Almighty as though you are actually seeing Him, and even if you do not see Him, He sees you."
Man's attention towards Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD)-Almighty depends in proportion to his knowledge and enlightenment relative to Him.
If the faith has reached to the degree of certainty, has completely comprehended Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD)'s Majesty,
Power, Presence, Dominion, and Knowledge, naturally will show humility and humbleness in front of him,
And there would be no room left for negligence and forgetfulness.
Some one, who sees Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD)'s existence everywhere as his overseer, regards himself continuously before His presence,
While standing in prayer -a place of talking with Him, will never be negligent from His remembrance.
Wabasha bin Ma’bad, (Radiyallaahu anhu)., who said:
I came to the messenger of Allah and he said:
"You have come to ask about righteousness?”.
I said:" Yes." He said: "Consult your heart.
Righteousness is that about which the soul feels tranquil and the heart feels tranquil,
And wrongdoing is that which wavers in the soul and moves to and from in the breast even though people again and again have given you their legal opinion [in its favor]."

Righteous deeds" (amelunsalihan):
"Righteous deeds" (amelunsalihan) are one of the key concepts of the Qur'an.
In Arabic, the word "righteousness" comprises the meanings of good, beneficial and right.
In Arabic, the verb "to amend"(islah) is also derived from the same root.
Consequently, in English, every type of beneficial and good work or action done for the good of religion is expressed by the word "Righteous deed." In terms of the Qur'an, on the other hand, each act and all behavior designed to seek the favour of Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) is a "righteous deed".
The salvation of an individual is not attained only through faith; righteous deeds, the signs of sincere faith, also save the soul.
Saying "I believe" yet failing to comply with the commandments of religion does not lead man to salvation.
In the Qur’an Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) states the following about this issue:
Do men think that they will be left alone on saying, "We believe", and that they will not be tested?
We tested those before them, and Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) will certainly know those who are true from those who are false. (Al-Ankaboot, 2-3)
The way a believer does a righteous deed proves his mettle.
His deeds indicate his perseverance, stability, determination and loyalty-in other words the depth of his faith.
Nawas bin Sam’ an (radiyallaahu anhu) that the Prophet (Sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) said:
Righteousness is in good character/morality, and wrong doing is that which wavers in your soul, and which you dislike people finding out about.
It was related by Muslim.
The guidance and coming out of the darkness of (Falsehood) into the light of (Truth).
Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) said in Surat Yunus, (Verse 9), what can be translated as,
"Verily, those who believe, and do deeds of righteousness, their Lord will guide them by their faith…"
And also Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) said in Surat At-Alaq, (Verse 11), what can be translated as,
"…that He may take out, those who believe and do righteous good deed from the darkness to the light…"
Love for them from Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD)
And in the hearts of the believers Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) said in Surat Maryam, (Verse 96), what can be translated as,
“Verily, those who believe, and do deeds of righteousness, the Most Beneficent will bestow love for them (in the hearts of the believers)."
And also Imams Bukhari and Muslim reported that,
The Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) said:
"If Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) love's a person, He calls Jibraeel (Gabriel) saying: Allah love so and so; O Jibraeel love him.
Jibraeel would love him, and then Jibraeel would make an announcement among the resident of the heavens,
Allah loves so and so, therefore, you should love him also.
So, all the resident of the heavens would love him and he is granted the pleasure of the people of the earth."
Whipping away there bad deeds. Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) said in Surat Al-Ankaboot, (Verse 7), what can be translated as,
" Those who believe, and do deeds of righteousness, surly, We shall remit from them their evil deeds and shall reward them according to the best of that which they used to do."
Allah’s protection: In the Qudsi (Holy) Hadith, reported by Imams Bukhari and Muslim that, the prophet The Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) said:
"Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) said:
My servant draws near to Me with supererogatory works so that I shall love him.
When I love him I am his hearing with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes and his foot with he walks…"
Narrated: - Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri (Radiyallaahu anhu). And Abu Huraira (Radiyallaahu anhu):
The Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) said, "No fatigue, nor disease, nor sorrow, nor sadness, nor hurt, nor distress befalls a Muslim,
Even if it were the prick he receives from a thorn, but that Allah expiates some of his sins for that."
A good deed has its sure reward, and that reward will be better than the merits of the doer.
An evil deed will not be punished with a severer penalty than justice demands.
On tope of that, sins and evil deeds may be forgiven by making repentance at the right time.
"Allah accepts the repentance of those who do evil in ignorance and repent soon afterwards; to them, Allah turns in mercy...” 4/17
“Of no effect is the repentance of those who continue to do evil until death faces one of them and he says:
"Now I repent". Nor of those who die rejecting Faith. For them We have prepared a most grievous punishment.4/18
Repentance from bad deeds and Kufr, when facing death, is no good.
That is too late. Those who miss the opportunity to repent will stand at the Day of Judgment before their Lord bending their heads saying:
"Our Lord: We have seen and we have heard. Let us go back to the world. We will work righteousness for now we do believe indeed". 32/12
For those, there is no going back; there is no return to this world.
There is no second chance for them to work righteousness.
They had their time. They had their opportunity.
They missed it. Now it is time to face the consequences of their deeds and action.
Now is the time to be paid for their evil and their sins.
Let us pray to Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD): To increase and strengthen our faith, Ameen!
To Guide us and help us to work righteous deeds acceptable and pleasing to Him so that we may gain His Mercy and Grace. Ameen!
Sayidina 'Umar ibn al-Khattab (Radiyallaahu anhu): Was heard weeping and saying:
'You are more to me than my father and mother, O Messenger of Allah!
There was once a palm tree stump on which you used to stand when you addressed the people.
But when the people grew in number, you adopted a pulpit to let them all hear you.
The tree stump then mourned your separation, until you laid your hand upon it and it was reassured.
Still greater right has your Community to pine for you now you have parted from them.
'You are more to me than my father and mother,
O Messenger of Allah! So great is your merit in His sight that He has equated obedience to you with obedience to Himself:
For He said, Great and Glorious is He: "Whoever obeys the Messenger, obeys Allah." (Al-Nisa', 4:80).
WA Khair ul Hadyi Hadyu Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam).
And the best advice is the advice of The Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam).
Pray and do Dhikr in good times and tense times, and hold tight to the rope of Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) at all times.
Try to give up some dunya and replace with Dhikr and Salat, InshaAllah it will help.
Alhamdullilah! Sabr is the secret door to Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD)’s presence.
It is the code that tells Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) that we truly submit to His will, whatever it may be.
May Allah Subhanawataala grant us what is best in this world and the next!
Action speaks louder then words my friend’s practice Islam the way of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) did.
May Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) help us to do that which He loves and which pleases Him?

The diseases of the heart
Not Practicing = Disobedience
The heart must be clean and honest. Allah is Pure and He only accepts pureness.
"Verily, deeds are rewarded by intention. And everyone will have the reward for that which he has intended."
[A saying of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him - Sahih Al-Bukhari Vol. 1:1]
Sincere intention is the key to the success or failure of the Muslim.
All that he or she does must be for the sake of Allah and not for the chance to show off or call attention to him or herself.
If there is even a speck of pride or showing off for the people instead of doing for Allah, then the whole of the matter will be rejected by Allah on the Day of Judgment.
This is due to the fact that Allah wants purity of intention and purity in deed.
“Invite (all) to the Way of your Rabb (Cherisher and Sustainer) with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious: for your Rabb knows best, who have strayed from His Path, and who receive guidance.” (16:125)
Please do "Not to judge Islam" with the way non-practicing Muslims behave.( The non-practicing group is a different matter).
The reasons why they no longer pray may be very complicated.
It could just be laziness. It could be the bad influence of the friends they hang around with.
It could be the bad example of other Muslims, who have put them off the whole idea of Islam; even they do not formally reject it.
It could be the very subtle influence of television and the media, which make other lifestyles, seem more attractive and more "modern" than the life of a Muslim).
(There are some Muslims who do not practice as Muslims.
They no longer do the things that Muslims do, even though they may have been born Muslim and have lived with Muslims all their lives.
They are Muslim, but they do not practice as Muslims.
(A Muslim irrespective of whether he practices or not: is in fold of Islam until he has faith in Tawhid Risalah and other aspects of faith).
Muslims are human beings and have all the failings of human beings, and we need only look to ourselves to see this.
May Allah swt have mercy on us and guide us so that we may be better and so that perhaps we may be forgiven for our shortcomings.
In addition, among the major signs of piety is that the most pious person is one who believes that he is the worst sinner. Otherwise this thought might lead to riya, ujb and pride in one's heart which is a danger for our own faith and nullifies our deeds).
They do none of the things that Muslims usually do.
For example, they do not pray five times a day.
They do not fast during Ramadan; they do not pay Zakat, and so on.
For whatever reason, they have stopped doing these things.)
Non-practicing Muslims destroy their lives by indulging in such immoral practices as adulteries and fornication, drinking intoxicants, drug addictions, gambling, usury, graft and corruption, stealing, swindling, abductions, rebellions and the like.
With their non-Islamic behaviors they create very bad image not only for the Muslims but also for Islam as a whole.
We have to stress that the “Muslims” they encounter or observe are actually non-practicing Muslims.
If ever they dislike their behavior it is because they do not act in accordance with the teachings of Islam.
At the time of the Messenger, saws, there were people well-known to be "hypocrites," the Munaafiqoon.
These were people who were only Muslim in name but were still trying to undermine Islam.
Did anyone ask them to leave Islam? I don't think so.
Instead of asking people to leave Islam, we should be helping them.
That's part of the da'wah
All we can do is make du’aa for them to get back on the straight path.
"Invite (all) to the Way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious: for thy Lord knoweth best, who have strayed from His Path, and who receive guidance." (Qur'an 16:125)
We really don't want anyone to leave/come to Islam.
It is better if they at least believe in the basics truths of Islam than leave all together.
Also, some of them may need help.
Non-practicing Muslims can overnight become practicing Muslims, and God's door is always wide open for he or she who wants to follow God's Path
Man is very forgetful and makes a lot of mistakes.
His own self (nafs) tells him to do evil and the Shaitan tempts him to commit sin.
When bodies get sick and are afflicted with disease, one has to find a doctor who can prescribe the appropriate medicine so that the body may be restored to full health. Similarly, souls and hearts may be afflicted with the diseases of desire and doubt, so people do things which Allah has forbidden, such as shedding blood, committing adultery, drinking alcohol, oppressing people and consuming their wealth unlawfully, preventing people from following the way of Allah and disbelieving in Allah.
The diseases of the heart [psychological and spiritual diseases] are worse than diseases of the body.
This means that one must find a doctor who is skilled in treating such diseases.
Because the diseases of the heart are so many and cause the spread of evil and corruption, Allah has enjoined the believers to treat these diseases, by enjoining that which is good and forbidding that which is evil. Allah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“Let there arise out of you a group of people inviting to all that is good (Islam), enjoining Al-Ma‘roof (i.e. Islamic Monotheism and that entire Islam orders one to do) and forbidding Al-Munkar (polytheism and disbelief and all that Islam has forbidden). And it is they who are the successful” [Aal ‘Imran 3:104]
Islam teaches righteousness and the best manners to the whole mankind.
" ... Don't judge Islam based on how a bunch of non-practicing Muslims act, seek the truth, from true believers and relevant sources.... like wise, never judge any other religions based on its followers only....."
We’re in a knowledge era, where an answer to our questions can always be found... it can even be between the lines of the Islamic books on your shelves, or maybe... the book (Quran) in your hand...
You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink, and Allah said "La Ikraha Fid-Deen.
“You tell them the message but if they don't want to hear it, Cool, Okay,
Thank you!
Maybe! When you have some free time. ('None of you truly believes until he wishes for his brother what he wishes for himself).'

Allah alone knows the secrets of our hearts and it is He alone who sees the real intention of why we do things.
So, it is not for us to point fingers at others.
He alone, then, is the One who will judge us according to the way we have lived our lives.
For a Muslim not to pray it is a very serious matter.
Not to fast during the month of Ramadan is very serious, since it is Allah who commanded us to do this.
Not to pay Zakat and not to go on the pilgrimage to Makkah, just because we do not want to, are both very serious things.
Not Practicing = Disobedience
By calling themselves non-practicing Muslims, these people still consider themselves to be Muslim, or they would introduce themselves to you as ex-Muslims or they would say that they used to be Muslim or that they were once Muslim.
They have not taken the actual step of rejecting Islam and renouncing it.
Such former Muslims are known as "apostates," since they have formally rejected Islam.
Al-Hasan al-Basri said: “It has reached me that the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to say: “Between a servant and his falling into polytheism and disbelief is that he leaves the prayer without a valid excuse.”
It is not our place to judge anyone, since Allah is the only judge, but it seems that there are too many non-practicing Muslims in our world.
They call themselves Muslim and they tell others that they are Muslim.
They fill in forms as Muslims and they may have "Muslim" written on their passport or ID card, but they act in a way that gives a very bad example of what Islam is like and they confuse non-Muslims about the real nature of Islam.
It would be better, surely, for such people to make no comment when they are asked what their religion is, rather than to give a bad example.
Enjoining what is good and forbidding what is evil is a mission which will never end until the Hour begins.
It is obligatory upon all the ummah, rulers and subjects, men and women, each according to his or her circumstances.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever among you sees an evil action, let him change it with his hand [by taking action]; and if he cannot, then with his tongue [by speaking out]; and if he cannot, then with his heart [by feeling that it is wrong] – and that is the weakest of faith.” (Narrated by Muslim, 49)
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
“Religion is sincerity.” We said, “To whom?” He said, “To Allah and His Book, and His Messenger, and to the leaders of the Muslims and their common folk.” (Narrated: - Muslim, 95).
If a Muslim is commanded to do something, he should be the quickest of people to do it, and if he is forbidden to do something, he must be the one who keeps furthest away from it. Allah has issued a warning to those who go against that, as He says (interpretation of the meaning):
“O you who believe! Why do you say that which you do not do?
Most hateful it is with Allah that you say that which you do not do” [al-Saff 61:2-3]
No matter how righteous a person may be, he still needs sincere advice, guidance and reminders in the light of the Qur’an and Sunnah. Allah said to the Messenger of the Lord of the Worlds, the most perfect of all creation (interpretation of the meaning):
“O Prophet (Muhammad)! Keep your duty to Allah, and obey not the disbelievers and the hypocrites (i.e., do not follow their advice). Verily, Allah is Ever All-Knower, All-Wise”
[Al-Ahzab 33:1]
Holy Quran - Allah says:
"Inna Dena indalahil-Islam." (Certainly, the only acceptable way which Allah will accept is Islam). [Holy Quran 3:19]
This submission requires a fully conscious and willing effort to submit to the one Almighty God.
"But no, by your Lord, they can have no Faith, until they make you (Muhammad, peace be upon him) as a judge in all disputes between them, and find no resistance against your decisions, and accept (the decisions) with full submission." [Holy Quran 4:65]
Total submission is required after the surrender and some terms have to be set forth by Allah to be understood by the Muslim.
There can be no option in the matter as Allah says in another verse,
"It is not fitting for the believing man or for the believing woman, that whenever Allah and His Messenger have decided any matter, that they should have any other opinion."
[Holy Quran 33:36]
And obey Allah and His Messenger."
[Holy Quran 3:132]
"O you who believe! Obey Allah and His Messenger and those of you who are in authority. If you differ in anything amongst yourselves, refer it to Allah and His Messenger, if you believe in Allah and in the Last Day. That is better and more suitable for final determination." [Holy Quran 4:59]
"He who obeys the Messenger has indeed obeyed Allah, but he who turns away, then we have not sent you as a watcher over them."
[Holy Quran 4:80]
This means to act on what Allah enjoins all of us to do (in the Qur'an) and what His beloved Prophet, Muhammad (pbuh) encouraged us to do in his Sunnah (his lifestyle and sayings personifying the Qur'an).
After surrendering your free will to Allah and then ratifying the terms and conditions of the surrender, it is obligatory for the Muslim to live up to his terms of the bargain. It is his or her responsibility to do their best to obey the orders of Allah set forth in the Holy Quran and the teachings of the Holy Prophet, peace be upon him.
What ever Allah and His Messenger have set out as being the Way of Islam: is incumbent on the believer, man or woman to follow completely.
One must consciously and conscientiously give oneself to the service of Allah.
Action speaks louder then words my friend’s practice Islam the way of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) did.
May Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) help us to do that which He loves and which pleases Him?
May Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) make our efforts sincere and keep us all on the straight path...........

Forgiveness From Your Lord and Paradise
Paradise and Hell
Successful indeed are the believers those who humble themselves in their prayers.
I Seek refuge in Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD), from the
Shaitan.
Allah Subhanahu
WA Ta’aala (GOD)’s name I begin, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.
All praise be to
Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD), Lord of the worlds,
Who has disposed
all matters through His arrangements thereof?
Who has fairly
composed His creation and given it excellent form, good structure and
proportion.
And may blessings
and salutation be invoked upon Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi
wasallam), the bondsman of Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD),
May Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) make us all from those
whose deeds are done in accordance with the Sunnah, deeds that are done
sincerely for the sake of Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD)?
"Paradise and Hell
have already been created.
They will never come to an end or cease to exist. Allah
Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) created Paradise
and Hell before the rest of creation,
And He Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) created inhabitants
for each of them.
Who ever: He Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) wishes (will
enter) Paradise by His grace and mercy, and
who ever He (Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) wishes (will enter Hell) as a
result of His (Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) justice.
Every person will behave according to that for which he was
created, and his destiny will be that for which he was created;
Good deeds and evil deeds are foreordained for all
men".
Proofs from the Qur'an and Hadith in support of this are,
for example:
"Race with one another in hastening towards forgiveness
from your Lord and Paradise the width whereof
is as the width of the heaven and the earth, prepared for those who believe in
Allah and His Messengers.
That is the Grace of Allah, which He bestows on whom He is
pleased with. And Allah is the Owner of Great Bounty". (57:21)
"...for Paradise as
wide as are the heavens and the earth, prepared for al-Muttaqoon" (3:133)
"And fear the fire, which is prepared for the
disbelievers" (3:131)
"And indeed he (Muhammad) saw him (Jibraeel) at a
second descent (i.e. another time), near Sidrat al-Muntaha (Lote tree of the
utmost boundary (beyond which none can pass), near it is the Paradise of Abode"
(53:13-15)
The Prophet (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam): saw Sidrat al Muntaha/ Lote Tree in Heaven, and near it, Paradise, as is mention in al-Bukhari, and Muslim in the
hadith of Anas (Radiyallaahu anhu).
At the end of this narrative of al-Isra, the Prophet (Holy
Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) said, "Then Jibraeel brought
me to Sidrat al Muntaha/
Lote Tree which was veiled in colour indescribable.
Then I entered Paradise, and its lights were of pearls and its soil was
musk".
Muslim, Abu Dawud and Imam Ahmad report from Abu Hurayrah (Radiyallaahu
anhu) that the Messenger (Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam)
said, "When (Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) created Paradise
and Hell,
He sent Jibraeel to Paradise,
saying "Go and look at it and at what I have prepared therein for its
inhabitants".
So he went and looked
at it and at what Allah had prepared therein for its inhabitants.... then He
sent him to Hellfire saying,
"Go and look at it and what I have prepared therein for
its inhabitants" So he looked at it and saw that it was in layers, one
above the other...."
Suhaib ibn Sinan Ar-Rumi narrated that Allah Subhanahu WA
Ta’aala (GOD)’s Messenger said:
“When those deserving
of Paradise would enter Paradise, the Blessed
and the Exalted would ask:
‘Do you wish Me to
give you anything more?’ They would say: ‘Have You not brightened our faces?
Have You not made us enter Paradise
and saved us from Fire?’
He said: ‘He (Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) would lift
the veil,
And of things given to them nothing would be dearer to them
than the sight of their Rabb, the Mighty and the Glorious.’” (Muslim 347)
Anas Bin Malik (Radiyallaahu anhu) Holy Prophet Muhammad
(Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) said: Verily,
Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) does not treat a believer
unjustly in regard to his virtues.
He would confer upon him (His blessings) in this world and
would give him reward in the Hereafter.
And as regards a non-believer, he would be made to taste the
reward (of virtue in this world) what he has done for himself so much when it
would be the Hereafter,
He would find no virtue for which he should be
rewarded. (Muslim: 6739).
If non-Muslims as well as the secular Muslims will study or
at least read authentic knowledge of Islam
(i.e., Quran and the
Sunnah or Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) Tradition, which
includes his hadiths or Teachings and Sayings),
They will learn that Islam teaches its followers to go for a
well-balanced life a goodly life in this world and an eternal life that is full
of Bliss.
Islam encourages us Muslims to strive hard to enjoy the
material comfort and success in this world.
At the same time, it enjoins us to develop our spiritual
aspects of life in order to have eternal peace, happiness and success in the
next world.
Islam is a Mercy which Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) the
Rabb (Cherisher and Sustainer) of the worlds bestows only to whom He likes.
It is full of Divine
Guidance from Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) which He gives to those who
truly believe in His Oneness (Tawhid).
Allah the Exalted says:
“This is the Guidance of Allah. He gives that guidance to
whom He pleases, of His servants.
But if they were to join other gods with Him, all that they
did would be vain for them.” (Qur’an
6:88)
“And indeed it has been revealed to you (O Muhammad), as it
was to those (Allah’s Messengers) before you:
‘If you join others in worship with Allah, (then) surely
(all) your deeds will be in vain, and you will certainly be among the losers.’”
(Qur’an 39:65)
True and devoted Muslims spend more of their time, wealth
and efforts or everything that Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) has given them
for their spiritual happiness.
Through patience and devotion to Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala
(GOD), they fell contented for whatever lawful shares they have in this
world.
They believe in the following Prophet's virtuous teachings:
Abu Hurairah (Radiyallaahu anhu) Narrated that: the Holy
Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) said: Riches does not mean,
having a great amount of property, but riches is self-contentment. (Bukhari, 8/ 453)
Abu Said Al-Khudri (Radiyallaahu anhu) narrated that some
Ansari persons asked for (something) from Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) s
Messenger Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) and he gave them.
They again asked him for (something) and he again gave them.
And then again they asked him and he gave them till all that
was with him finished.
And then he said, if I had anything, I would not keep it
away from you. (Remember) Whoever abstains from asking others?
Allah will make him contented, and whoever tries to make him
self self-sufficient, Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) will make him
self-sufficient.
And whoever remains
patient, Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) will make him patient. Nobody can be
given a blessing better and greater than patience. (Bukhari 2/ 548)
Abdullah ibn Mas’ud (Radiyallaahu anhu) narrated that he
heard Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD)'s Messenger Holy Prophet Muhammad
(Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) saying:
Whoever centers all his thoughts upon one object, viz. the
thought of the Hereafter?
Allah will provide him with the worldly needs, and he whose
whole distraction is worldly ends,
Allah does not care in what wilderness of the world he
perishes. (Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah)
Anas bin Malik and Zaid (Radiyallaahu anhu) bin Thabit (Radiyallaahu
anhu) narrated that the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam)
said if anyone’s intention is to seek the hereafter,
Allah will place his sufficiency in his heart and order his
affairs, and the world will come to him submissively;
But if anyone's intention is to seek worldly good Allah will
place poverty before him and disorder his affairs,
And only so much of it as has been ordained for him will
come to him. (Ahmad)
Devoted Muslims feel gratified for whatever efforts and
sacrifices they make in following the teachings of Islam.
They always remember that the so-called success or supremacy
that non-Muslims enjoy in this world is just temporary because they disbelieve
in Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) and His Messenger saw.
If we Muslims strive hard
for whatever good in this world and for our spiritual well-being, true success
will be stored for us in this world and in the life hereafter.
If we are patient enough to bear any sort of hardship in
this world we will surely enjoy Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD)'s Mercy.
We will enjoy the happiness and entertainment in Paradise forever:
As to those who
believe and work righteous deeds, they have, for their entertainment, the
Gardens of Paradise. (Quran 18:107)
Successful indeed are the believers those who humble themselves in their
prayers... and who (strictly) guard their prayers.
These will be the heirs, who will inherit Paradise.
They will dwell therein forever. (Quran
23:9-11)
Verily, those who believe (in Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD)
and His Messenger) and do righteous deeds they are the best of creatures.
Their reward is with Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD):
Gardens of Eternity Beneath which rivers flow.
They will dwell therein for ever. Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) well pleased
with them and they with Him all this for such as fear their Rabb and
Cherisher. (Quran 98:7-8)
We Muslims will be very happy in the eternal world to
come.
We will not only enjoy all the blessings of Paradise but above all reap Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala
(GOD)'s supreme reward and that is to be able to see Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala
(GOD), our Creator and Sustainer:
The believers, men
and women, are protectors one of another: they enjoin what is just and forbid
what is evil: they observe regular prayers practice regular charity and obey
Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) and His Messenger.
On them will Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) pour His
mercy: for Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) is exalted in power Wise?
Allah has promised the believers, men and women, gardens
under which rivers flow to dwell therein and beautiful mansions in gardens of
everlasting bliss.
But the greatest
bliss is the Good Pleasure of Allah: that is the supreme success. (Quran
9:71-72)
Allah's Messenger Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi
wasallam) said:
When those deserving of Paradise would enter Paradise, the Blessed and the Exalted would ask: Do you
wish Me to give you anything more?

Indeed, in the life hereafter, what else can we ask from
Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) when He will reward us the blessings of Paradise?
Is it not a great favor and an honor that in the life
hereafter we will see Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD), the Unseen, and Who
Alone is our Rabb (Cherisher and Sustainer) and Creator?
Non-Muslims must know that Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD)
is the Creator of everything in the Heavens and in the Earth, including Paradise and Hell.
He has prepared Paradise as
His Reward for those who believe in Him and His Messenger Holy Prophet Muhammad
(Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) and do righteous deeds.
As to those who
disbelieve and are doers of evil deeds, Hell-Fire is their abode forever where
they will taste Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD)'s severe torments for their
disbelief:
We have been told by the Creator of Heaven of the qualities
of those who will go to Heaven.
We read in Verse 40 of Surat al-Mu_min, or the Believer:
"...and he that works a righteous deed – Whether man or woman – And is a
believer – Such will enter the garden (of bliss): therein will they have
abundance without measure".
We also read in Verses 13 and 14 of Surat al-Ahqaf: (Verily those who say,
"Our Lord is Allah", and remain firm (on that path), -
On they shall be no
fear, nor shall they grieve (13) such shall be companions of the garden,
dwelling therein (for aye): a recompense for their (good) deeds. (Surat al-Ahqaf: 14).
And in Verse 60 of Surat
Maryam, or Mary:
("Except those who repent and believe, and work
righteousness: for those will enter the garden and will not be wronged in the
least. (Surat
Maryam: 60)
All those who submit to Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD), do
what He asked and avoid what He proscribed will go to Heaven.
Never stop seeking Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD).
The definition of a Muslim is to bow down to the will of
Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD), to submit to Him and to Him alone.

May Allah Subhanahu

Definition of a Muslim is to bow down to the will of Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD), to submit to Him and to Him alone.

"Whoever
seeks a path in search of knowledge, Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) would
make easy for him.
Everyone who seeks Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) with his
whole heart and with a sincere attitude will find Him.
In brief, it may be justifiably claimed that the Islamic
theory of knowledge was responsible for blossoming of a culture of free inquiry
and rational scientific thinking that also encompassed the spheres of both
theory and practice.
This picture depicts an aspect of modern technology.
Modern technology would not have advanced the way it has had
it not been for Islamic culture.
"Whoever seeks a path in search of knowledge, Allah
Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) would make easy for him a path leading to Jannah
(paradise)." (Abu Dawud)
Acquiring knowledge of Allah is the most important
obligation on every Muslim because Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) ordered
seeking knowledge
(I.e.: the knowledge of Himself) prior to declaration of the
Shahadah.
He said: And know that there is no deity worthy of worship
but Allah then seeks forgiveness for your sins... [Al-Quran 47: 19]
Allah Subhanahu WA
Ta’aala (GOD) raises the level of those who believe and those who are endowed
with knowledge. [Al-Quran 58:11]
To emphasize seeking knowledge before doing any action, Imam
Al-Bukhari used the above verse as a basis for a chapter in his all famous
Sahih.
He entitles that chapter: "Knowledge before speech and
action". Book of Knowledge: [Sahih Bukhari Vol: 1 Ch 11]
According to the Qur'an, the first teaching class for Adam
A.S. started soon after his creation and Adam A.S. was taught 'all the Names'.
Allah Subhanahu WA
Ta’aala (GOD) is the first teacher and the absolute guide of humanity.
This knowledge was not imparted to even the Angels
He forbade that knowledge be concealed, as it is an
obligation for each person to seek it.
The Messenger of Islam, Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu
alayhi wasallam) said: "Whoever conceals knowledge would be muzzled on the
Day of Resurrection with a muzzle of Fire."
Sound approach to acquiring knowledge is a must.
As any scientist knows, the best way to learn science is to
do science.
This is the only way to get to the real business of asking
questions, conducting investigations, collecting data, and looking for answers.
One who acts without knowledge is like one who travels off
the path; and the one who acts without knowledge corrupts more than he
rectifies.
So seek knowledge in a way that does not harm your worship,
and seek to worship [Allah] in a way that does not harm [your seeking of]
knowledge.
For verily, there were people, who sought to worship [Allah]
but abandoned knowledge until they attacked the“One who loves for the sake of Allah– with their swords.
But if they had sought knowledge, it would not have directed
them to do what they did.-Al-Hasan Al-Basri – Allah have mercy on him.
His desire for knowledge should not let him get carried away
collecting information randomly.
This may afford him some measure of “culture”, but it does
not lead to any real knowledge.
You want to make sure that you have a structured approach to
seeking knowledge that brings benefit, result and moves you forward.
The Prophet Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi
wasallam) once said that Muslims should "seek knowledge, from the cradle
to the grave." Education is a life-long endeavor,
“One who loves for the sake of Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala
(GOD) alone and hates for the sake of Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) alone; and
whatever he gives for the sake of Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) alone; and
whatever he withholds, withhold for the sake of Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala
(GOD) alone, indeed, he perfects his Iman.” (Abu Dawood).
Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) explains
that to be a true believer ones love and enmity, affections,
Relations and transactions should have only one purpose; to
seek Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD)’s pleasure.
Without this one’s Iman will not be complete.
The greater the deficiency: in this respect, the more
defective the Iman.
Even today we see that only those are considered real and
true followers of a creed or ideology who are loyal to it with their heart and
soul.
Every creed in the world desires such adherents and no creed
can prevail in the world except through such followers.
However, there is a difference between Islam and other
creeds and ideologies.
Although others demand from men total loyalty and
dedication, they in fact have no such right upon him, their claims are entirely
unjustified.
But Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD), for whom Islam demands
the sacrifice of life, has a right upon us.
Everything must be given in this way, for whatever exists in
the heaven and on earth belongs to Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD).
Man himself and whatever he possesses, and whatever lies
within him, all belong to Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD).
It is therefore in perfect harmony with justice as well as
reason that whatever belongs to Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) must be
reserved only for Him.
Whatever sacrifice is
made for Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) is in reality a payment of what is
due.
Let us examine our lives by the crucial criteria, of Iman
and Islam as laid down by the Noble Qur’an and the Prophet (Sallallaahu Alaihi
Wasallam) of Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD).
If we claim that we have accepted Islam, have we oriented
our living and our dying towards Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) only?
Are we living for this cause alone?
Are our hearts and minds, our bodies and souls, our time and
efforts devoted to the fulfillment of
Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam)’s wishes?
Have we made our likes and dislikes totally subordinate to
the wishes of Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD)?
If we love anyone is it really for the sake of Allah
Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD). ?
If we dislike anyone,
is that too for the sake of Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD). ?
Do we give and
withhold only for the sake of Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD). ?
Are we spending on
ourselves and giving wealth to other people, or withholding the same because
that is what Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD).
Wants?
Is our motive nothing but to gain the pleasure of Allah
Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD)?
If we find such a state of faith and submission within
ourselves, we should thank Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD). That He has
bestowed upon us the blessing of Iman in its fullness.
And if we feel any
deficiency, we must give up every other concern and worry and concentrate
wholly on remedying this deficiency.
For on its removal depends our well being in this world as
well as success in the Hereafter.
Do not use this criterion to test or judge others and
determine whether they are Muslims or hypocrites of Kafirs; use it only to
judge ourselves and if we detect any deficiency, try to remove it before we meet
Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD).
Islam has several unique features which can be confirmed
through deeper study:
Islam is the only religion whose sources have remained free
of human alteration and interference.
Its divinely revealed scripture is in harmony with
established facts of science, clearly bearing the signature of the Creator of
this universe.
Islam provides answers to the essential fundamental
questions which occur to the mind of every intelligent person, those related to
the purpose of creation and life, and concerning a further existence after
death.
Islam is the only religion which insists upon worship of the
Creator alone and completely rejects the worship of any aspect of creation.
So along with actually practicing the character a Muslim
should have, he/she is also teaching it to others, but on a general plane,
regardless of the person's religious preference
We Muslims will be very happy in the eternal world to
come.
We will not only enjoy all the blessings of Paradise but above all reap Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala
(GOD). ’s supreme reward and that is to be able to see Allah Subhanahu WA
Ta’aala (GOD). , our Creator and Sustainer:
“The believers, men
and women, are protectors one of another: they enjoin what is just and forbid
what is evil:
They observe regular
prayers practice regular charity and obey Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) and
Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) His Messenger.
On them will Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD). Pour His
mercy: for Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) is exalted in power Wise.
Allah Subhanahu
WA Ta’aala (GOD): has promised the believers, men and women,
gardens under which rivers flow to dwell therein and beautiful mansions in
gardens of everlasting bliss.
But the greatest
bliss is the Good Pleasure of Allah: that is the supreme success.” (Qur’an
9:71-72)
Never stop seeking Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD).
The definition of a Muslim is to bow down to the will of
Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD), to submit to Him and to Him alone.

Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) did.

WA Ta’aala (GOD)’s name I begin, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.
All praise be to
Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD), Lord of the worlds,
Who has disposed
all matters through His arrangements thereof?
Who has fairly
composed His creation and given it excellent form, good structure and
proportion.
And may blessings
and salutation be invoked upon Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi
wasallam), the bondsman of Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD),
May Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) make us all from those
whose deeds are done in accordance with the Sunnah, deeds that are done
sincerely for the sake of Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD)?
Allah
Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) is a journey that you can Walk/Talk daily.
Everyone who seeks Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) with his
whole heart and with a sincere attitude will find Him.
Intimacy with Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) is a journey
that you can Walk/Talk daily.
Never stop seeking Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD).
It is easy to claim that I am a Muslim, but how easy is it
to identify one?
The definition of a Muslim is to bow down to the will of
Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD), to submit to Him and to Him alone.
That is the building block on which the character of a true
Muslim is based.
In order to understand the concept of character specifically
to a particular religion we have to understand how the religion understands,
and defines it.
In relation to Islam, we would have to know what the Qur'an
And the example of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu
alayhi wasallam) says about character,
And what type of character a Muslim should have.
Every action thereon is done with the thought of its outcome
in the eyes of Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD)
And how it will affect others and ultimately how he is going
to be judged by his maker.
A True Muslim will not indulge himself in obscene acts.
A true Muslim is the one who does not defame or abuse
others; but the truly righteous becomes a refuge for humankind, their lives and
their properties. -
Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam)
Patience is a virtue of the character.
Patience is a virtue of the character that we see held high
in the Qur'an,
And in the example of
Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) we find in the Qur'an.
Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) saying:,
“And verily, whosoever shows patience and forgives, that
would be truly from the things recommended by Allah." (Quran: 42:43).
This recommendation of Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD)
can't be confused with a recommendation our friends, or families give to us.
This is a recommendation from the Creator, who knows us
better than we know ourselves.
So we can be sure it will always turn out for benefit, even
though we may not see any benefit right away.
However, we are human, and no doubt patience doesn't come
easy everyone.
This is where Muslims have a human example to follow,
someone we can identify with, but not worship. Holy Prophet Muhammad
(Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) is that example.
As Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) says again in Qur'an,
" And indeed you (O Muhammad) are on a character most lofty." (HQ
68:4).
So as we see, these two sources of spiritual beliefs are
what define Muslim character,
And there are many other virtues of Muslim character in the
Qur'an, and the example of Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam),
such as truthfulness, our everyday manners, and observing the 5 pillars of
Islam amongst a few more.
A True Muslim would
understand the Quran and implement it in his day-to-day life. (MY friends Islam
is a "way of life.”)
When we first determine to draw near to Allah Subhanahu WA
Ta’aala (GOD), it may seem we have little to show for our efforts.
Yet, be assured: even the thought of seeking Allah Subhanahu
WA Ta’aala (GOD) is a step toward our transformation.
Still, we often do not notice the first signs of our
spiritual renewal, for as we grow increasingly more aware of Allah Subhanahu WA
Ta’aala (GOD),
We simultaneously
grow increasingly less aware of ourselves.
Though we may not see that we are changing, others certainly
will.
Our main goal should
always be to come closer to Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) through this knowledge
and not to show off, be praised, debate or look down on others.
As the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam)
said:
"Whoever seeks knowledge in order to compete with the
scholars, to prove himself superior to the ignorant, or to make the people look
up to him, he is in the Fire"
The religion of Islam encourages all people to seek and
increase their knowledge, and it disparages and warns against ignorance. Allah
Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) says:
(Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) will exalt in degree those
of you who believe and those who have been granted knowledge.) (58:11)
It regards striving to seek, learn, and teach knowledge as a
means which leads to Jannah (paradise). The Messenger of Islam, Holy Prophet
Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) said:
There is no concept that has been operative as a determinant
of the Muslim civilization in all its aspects to the same extent as 'ilm.
This holds good even for the most powerful among the terms
of Muslim religious life such as, for instance, Tawhid "recognition of the
oneness of Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD),
“Ad-din: "the true religion," and many others that
are used constantly and emphatically.
None of them equals ilm in depth of meaning and wide
incidence of use.
There is no branch of Muslim intellectual life, of Muslim
religious and political life,
And of the daily life of the average Muslim that remains
untouched by the all pervasive attitude toward "knowledge" as
something of supreme value for Muslim being.
'Ilm is Islam, even if the theologians have been hesitant to
accept the technical correctness of this equation.
The very fact of their passionate discussion of the concept
attests to its fundamental importance for Islam.
It may be said that Islam is the path of
"knowledge." No other religion or ideology has so much emphasized the
importance of 'ilm.
In the Qur'an the
word 'alim has occurred in 140 places, while al-'ilm in 27.
In all, the total number of verses in which 'ilm or its
derivatives and associated words are used is 704.
The aids of knowledge such as: book, pen, ink etc. amount to
almost the same number.
Qalam occurs in two places, al-Kitab in 230 verses, among
which al-Kitab for al-Qur'an occurs in 81 verses.
Other words associated with writing occur in 319 verses.
It is important to note that pen and book are essential to
the acquisition of knowledge.
The Islamic revelation started with the word iqra' ('read!'
or 'recite!').
Knowledge is not mere information; it requires the believers
to act upon their beliefs and commit themselves to the goals which Islam aims
at attaining.
In brief, I would like to say that the theory of knowledge
in the Islamic perspective is not just a theory of epistemology.
It combines knowledge, insight, and social action as its
ingredients.
Action speaks louder then words my friends practice Islam the way of Holy Prophet
Muhammad (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam).
May Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’aala (GOD) help us to do that
which He loves and which pleases Him?
